Dam straight! I have a feeling this will go to the FOS anyway. Can I ask for 8% interest for all this time or just the duration of the loan?

SD have you looked here on how the FOS calculates refunds, check it out if you have not done so yet.......:D;)

IF you look on their letter it probably tells you that you can pursue with the FOS now and thats what I did because another 4 weeks means more time for them and more delay for you as you will have to go to the FOS anyway and thats a certainty!. Up to you but I went to the FOS after the letter like you have had after 8 weeks and couldn't be bothered to give them another 4 weeks . If they can't resolve your complaint in 8 weeks what difference will another 4 weeks make, thats my view anyway.
I have now had one letter from the FOS thanking me for my complaint! Brilliant!

May be thats why Tesco are delaying - just think of all those juicy £10s that they are accumulating for SAR requests!!!.

Yeah but you're missing the whole picture. They now have to go to loads of different departments to gather all this data for us and it wont be a five minute job. Just think of all those PPI's they're missing out selling due to us giving them extra work load!
