    So it is always Ben Ryan then! I was starting to l think so. I have 2 ongoing claims, one with Tesco, one with Lombard (both RBS!) and it is Ben Ryan dealing with both. Then my friend starts her claim, and its Ben Ryan again!!

    He must be busy!! Both claims going so slowly. We have stalling letters for both that arrive a couple of days apart. Final dates (they say) are 24th and 27th January.

    Will wait and see!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    worriedmummy123 - the format appears to be with Tesco/RBS is that you will receive a letter after 4 weeks and another after 8weeks .They are quite happy to delay and write to you on the last minute and you will also notice that when you receive the letter at your house just check and see what the date is on their letter and to your amazement you will find that even though you receive their letter say on the 19th of the month their letter will have a date of say 11th of that month which makes them look good as you think that they have replied in the required timeframe!
    Anyway also after 8weeks when you get their letter they say that they need more time but at the same time they say you can write to the FOS if unhappy (in other words they are saying we can't be bothered because we know we are in the wrong but please can we have more time to earn more interest on your money) because EVERY LITTLE HELPS and all that stuff!!

    good luck! apparently you can print off a complaint form from the FOS website, or phone them, or email them.
  • One thing I am finding with some of the responses that I am getting from these PPI complaint departments is that they are not clued up at all as to why Single Premium PPI has been banned!!!
    They give me a reason as if they know that the process they used was correct and that the product wasn't missold . Makes we want to laugh so much because all I have done like most is just done alot of ground work on the internet on missold PPI and its clear as to why the products have been missold .

    Looks like their way of working!! anyway for the FOS form (ring the FOS on the number that has been given in Tesco's response in which they have most likely said you can take up matters with the FOS) or download the complaint form from the FOS website. Took me 10 minutes to complete! simple! The form is great as it asks for the nature of the complaint (you say missold PPI or whatever your reason is)

    it just asks for your reasons as to why you think it was mis-sold and what you would like the lender to do to put things right etc where you can say that they didn't advise on buying the PPI elsewhere and loads of other things etc that you feel relevant! and of course that you would like all your PPI with interest back!!!
    You need to send the FOS form signed and completed with the letter from Tesco which you received and anything else (I attached a copy of my loan agreement where it showed that the PPI had been added upfront etc)

    Good luck and any other info you need just ask as there is plenty of info on the internet and good people on here with experience to guide us through and hopefully win back OUR MONEY!!
    soon when you get your money back you will become a happymummy123 and not a worriedmummy123 anymore!!

    I have learned so much about Law in a matter of months - wonder if I qualify for a degree in Missold PPI !
