ben ryan must have a pile of these higher than his desk...lolo
So it is always Ben Ryan then! I was starting to l think so. I have 2 ongoing claims, one with Tesco, one with Lombard (both RBS!) and it is Ben Ryan dealing with both. Then my friend starts her claim, and its Ben Ryan again!!
He must be busy!! Both claims going so slowly. We have stalling letters for both that arrive a couple of days apart. Final dates (they say) are 24th and 27th January.
Will wait and see!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

What paperwork did she send? and on what grounds did she win.
If showergirl can respond that would be appreciated.
Most likely our cases are very similar so any info at this stage will help!
Well enough is enough I have filled and sent my form now - job done!
Fingers crossed for the outcome - goodluck to all.
I get the feeling that B.Ryan geezer is a made up one too! why would they only have one made up person dealing with so many claims etc - all sounds dodgy to me!
I have had responses from another loan company and a different person replies sometimes.
I am disappointed that things haven't been resolved yet because I could have done with the money for the Xmas sales and now I may have to wait for the Easter sales!!0 -

interesting! see what happens and if they say he is not at his desk and will call you back or ring later etc then we could be onto something!

....."I'm sorry, Mr Ryan is not available right now, can I help at all?" came the reply from RBS0

I think the best thing to do is just to follow the process and let things develop in our favour . Lets ignore all the other issues. Main thing is that we have the FOS to go through to help us.
I am sure that if the FOS receive loads of letters ref RBS/Tesco they will escalate issues themselves.
Good luck all.0 -

And we were not told that we could buy the cover elsewhere
All I had was a copy of the loan agreement which we copied and sent to the FOS along with copies of letters to and from RBS
Tesco's caved in once they received a letter from the FOS we got the full ppi back +8%
Good luck everyone0
