  • For distance selling regulations and financial services (distance marketing) regulations 2004 who am I contracting with ?

    I have issues with the way this financial product is sold, my issues are with Ticketmaster & their website and not Mondial. You have 5 minutes to complete a very busy webpage , credit card details , accept this, don't accept that , a screenful of verbiage on this mondial insurance product and .. you are buying a ticket to a concert.

    Normal distance selling I have 7 days cooling off period between me and the shop, if the stuff arrives its return is on my dime. My experience should be as if I went to the shop, the booking office of the arena in this case, if goods arrive damaged it is the shops problem and not mine. etc etc.

    Ticketmasters confusing website tacks on insurance. I dread to think what consumer small print regulations have been violated. If I buy insurance from my bank I have an expectation that I am dealing with my bank even tho when the policy shows up it is with someone else , AXA or the like. I have no expectation of ever dealing with AXA.

    For FSDMR Ticketmaster are an intermediary. The policy verbiage shows up between me and Mondail, with my 14 day cooling off between me and Mondial.

    I want to exercise my cooling off period between me & Ticketmaster , but can I ?
