I was a parcelbee user. For me with valuable heavyish items my choice post parcelbee was Interparcel with UPS at £6.50 plus vat or Parcelmonkey at £5.85 or £5.99 plus vat.
For me citylink as a carrier is non preferred and i asked here a few days ago if PMonkey still used Citylink - no one answered me.
I went to the PMonkey website and got a quote for UK mainland and it clearly said "your parcel will be delivered by DHL of Fedex" so i made a booking.
The booking came back quickly but it was Citylink. I complained and to PM credit it offered to cancel the booking. As the booking was done i decided to let it carry on for an experiment to see if Citylink had improved but felt rather peeved that the info on website had misled me. I then booked a second one to make the experiment more realistic. So far so good as the parcels booked Sunday night have been collected already today Monday - but note with Citylink you have to sign the drivers paperwork so no leaving the parcel in the porch for drive rto collect while you are out - a BIG drawback for me.

Parcel monkeys label that they send is less of an address label and more of an A4 parcelmonkey advert. Its starts off with a large colour parcel monkey logo complete with grinning primate.
Then goes on to mention PARCEL MONKEY in bold lettering 3 more time on the label before proudly finishing off with "Powered by parcelmonkey.com" in bold and highlighted in yellow.
Somewhere in the text in non bold writing is the rather important delivery address!
You might not like all this free leads to parcel monkey for your customer to check on delivery prices to decide if you have made small profit.
I've found some scissors and the "redact tool" on adobe removes the words PARCELMONKEY very nicely,. The redact tool is what they used to blank out the bits of MPs expenses but a black ink marker would work just as well.
I'll let you know if they are delivered on time.

I last sent a parcel with PBee Mon, which was collected and delivered OK. Sounds like I was lucky with timing. Hope they don't go / have gone bang.

Iv got 7 big parcels waiting to be collected and no sign of DHL as of yet,and to make things worse the local depot say they have no record of any collections being booked for me today?? .I have emailed Parcelbee but its not looking too good:(
  • I just got my parcel which was sent on thursday via DHL (ParcelBee) back. I had another one waiting to go but the driver said account was on hold due to £70k outstanding payment and no parcels would be collected until the account was settled. So if you are waiting in for a courier I wouldn't bother!!

It is difficult to get money back. Even open a dispute, If PB empty their paypal account, we still cannot get refund as we are not protected by Paypal terms and conditions.
