Very interesting regarding Parcelbee and DHL.

Is the Monkey still using Citylink for UK mainland deliveries? Is there a discount code for ex Parcelbee customers ;)

i don't think parcelbee offer any discount code at the moment. My parcels have not been collected on Friday. Not sure what's wrong between DHL and parcelbee. I emailed parcelbee at Friday night. They replied they will reschedule the collection on Monday. After reading these messages above, not very confident with parcelbee.

The poster is right. This company has done the same to me. I had to enter a paypal dispute, first time ever, as I was refused a refund. PB escalated it to a claim and it was settled in their favour. Presumably they forwarded "evidence" of their booking. Not only that I received a warning about fraudulent claims. Having read the last few posts, I have no hope of getting my money back.
It looks like this company have gone belly up. Defend them if you wish - a million satisfied customers don't make up for the few who have been cheated.

For one unhappy customer there are usualy 1000 happy ones! Am I missing something, what do you mean by PB being "sly", Paypal have sent you a standard computer generated reply to your dispute which you have patheticaly published. What has it to do with PB being sly?
They are being sly, by continuing with the paypal dispute, and not just issuing a refund straight away.

Looks like this has happened to many at the moment, and parcelbee are doing/saying anything to get out of refunding for a service that was not completed.

    Hi

As far as I am aware if a reseller escalates it from a Dispute to a Claim, PayPal will not rule in their favour but simply close the Case.

This is something to do with customer not being able to have a case against a company selling a service only selling an item (sorry for the poor wording there).

So you open a Dispute (doing the right thing), they make it in to a Claim and bang, it's closed and you've got nowhere.

This has happened on the Forum several times before. The last (I think) being Low Cost Parcel Delivery.

My advice is always go with a reseller that "feels right". Good website, automated etc. (Resellers that swap Carriers too is a little odd in my opinion too).

Neither Low Cost Parcel Delivery or Parcel Bee had this and I think it was mentioned before it could even be the same person behind it all.

I hope everyone does get their money back and parcels delivered - good luck all.

    Jordanryan,

Swapping couriers is not that odd within the re seller industry.

What tends to happen is a company will sign up with a courier for x and when a bigger re seller with the same courier gets to hear about this they get a little funny shall we say.

Before you know it Mr new boy is out looking for another deal.:(

Really? I thought it was because they weren't doing the numbers or paying the bill or something.

So bigger more established resellers put an oar in. Interesting.

In some cases you may get a company state we will do so many shipments if you give us a rate of x and then fail to honour this but in others it's the bigger fish using their muscle.

In terms of not paying bills and trying to move on thats not going to happen as you would not pass the credit checks etc and the industry knows where you have been in the past.

I've got the exact same problem as an earlier poster. DHL via Parcel Bee collected a package on Thursday but I got a call on Saturday saying I need to pick it up as PBs account is suspended. This is no doubt the reason they didn't pick up a package on Friday. Is that it now for Parcel Bee? I've found them to be great up to now. ANy suggestions for another similar service would be welcome as PB aren't answering my emails now
