There is no vat to pay on top of the prices on their website.

After researching this thread thoroughly, I used Parcelbee this week for 4 parcel deliveries. All went swimmingly, no problems, all delivered next day. All collected by DHL. Bargain for £5.99 each.

Couple of things I wasn't expecting though, similar to AppleBlossom's experience, the collection driver said I was supposed to leave the packages open until they inspected them before taking them away......I wasn't expecting that and had spent a lot of time packing them up nicely. I imagine if I had to do it while the driver was waiting I would end up with a rushed messy job. Thankfully he didn't make me open them and took my word for what was in them.

When I used PB a month or so ago, I had a UPS collection for 2 parcels, and they never wanted to check anything then.

Also the collection driver asked me "How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?" I told him I wasn't sure I was allowed to say, that I had used PB who have a great offer on. When I told him £5.99 he was gobsmacked....can PB really be making any money at this price?

I hope they continue at this price, but somehow it seems too good to be true...

    you would need the barcode
you wont win any favours if the courier has to manually input at every tracking stage

It doesnt have a barcode for Parcel Monkey Just a PM tracking number which is just for use on the Parcel Monkey website and a City Link tracking number which you can use on the City Link website but no barcode.

There seem to be far too many similarities between parcelbee and lcpd. Lets hope PB lasts!

I agree - i think for a parcel anywhere UPS is best but i doubt that DHL or FEDEX would let you down either if you pack it properly.
  • Ok thanks but would you go through interparcel which is a lot cheaper than the actual UPS site, to use the UPS service ? leachy.

You will get exactly the same van and man come and it will be handled in the same maneer no matter where you book so if UPS is cheapest on the interparcel site go with that.
