Cheap Parcel Delivery Official Discussion

  • For UK parcels you could try Fastway - you buy "stamps" in advance but for up to 5kg within their network (most of the UK) the cost is £4.95 plus VAT. This is not a special offer but their normal terms. Full track and trace and next day delivery.

lol. Fastway are proper couriers despite jojojo's comments(Many would call them a spammer since its their second post since 2003 :D). Ive had an item delivered from them to my house, but I wouldnt use them myself after I googled and saw some reviews about them.(I lie, a friend told me to steer clear :D) They do seem pretty cheap though, but arent really good on compensation

My delivery was not at all next day delivery, but three days delivery. When I contacted them, I didnt get a reply at all

Thought i would take look at the new thread and there are a lot of posts all of sudden from relatively new members who have suddenly felt the urge to say how wonderful ACME parcel company are. I think its a bit like the yellow pages where its alphabetical and you get the AAAAA Taxi co choosing their name to get a listing ahead of the AA taxi co only here they are all trying to get their "recommendation" in first by time on first few pages.
I would treat some of these reccomendations with caution, it isnt difficult to spot a spammer.

No - not a spammer in my opinion. You look like someone looking for advice and posting useful information when you find something out.
    PS its Bananadoo not Banadoo.

Well, searching banadoo on google links me to bananadoo's site-I didnt pay attention to the name much :D And yes, they dont give any compensation at all on computers. I am wanting some sort of compensation in case a part breaks, especially as places like ppp give a better deal :D

is there anyone i can use to collect and deliver lighter packages, these discussions all seem to be about larger boxes, mine are all light weight craft items, not delicate at all. I post many a week, this week so far have spent £75 on postage via 1st class royal mail at the post office. Is there any companies out there that have an arrangement whereby they will collect from me say once twice a week all my pkts and deliver them, or is there only these options for bigger parcels?? royal mail are a joke, takes ages to get there despite first class and so many have gone missinbg lately its a joke??
    any advice would be appreciated.
    thanks
