  • Does anyone know why INTERPARCEL.COM website won't work for me? Does it work for other people?

Yer iam not Gwizz's greatest fan either, i was charged for two failed collections when i was in.

With regard to your amp, i would use a carrier direct , instead of a reseller, as any claim would be easier dealing direct with the carrier.
    I know that

    Interlink Express/DPD. http://www.interlinkdirect.co.uk/
    UK Mail
    http://www.ipostparcels.com/
    Parcelforce
    http://www.senditnow.com/index.epl
    DHL Express
    https://www.dhlitnow.com/tws/

All have websites that anyone can order from without needing an account.

    Hope that helps

Thanks mate I'll look into them.

For that size and weight £7.99 is a great price for next day delivery, it should cost a lot more...

  • £7.99 is a very very good price for that size of parcel. People just get too used to Amazon's free delivery on everything!!!
  • Hi everyone,
I felt compelled to post about parcelsplease as I have just used them and had a suprisingly good service.
I am moving house and was trying to find a cheap way of getting all my belongings from Cornwall to London. I looked at 'proper' removal companies (sooo expensive!), man and van scenarios (bit cheaper) hire a car one way (stupidly expensive!) and then I looked on here to see about sending my stuff in parcels.
I had read reviews of all the different sites I could use to send my 6 large boxes (between 20-28kg per box). Parcelsplease was the cheapest (coming in at around £60), but i'm not a total fool and looked into every company carefully (as i'd rather pay more to get good service). The reviews were all pretty similar (some terrible, some excellent and a lot in between) for all of them.
I decided to take a chance as parcelsplease send via UPS and I had a bit of faith in them. I kept all my expensive stuff here to carry on the train in case it got lost in transit (but bear in mind it was most of my worldly possessions in those boxes).
They picked up at around 2pm the next day as requested. I had made sure the boxes were taped up and highly cushioned inside (good job as he dropped one of the boxes in front of me, lol). I was able to track the parcels after about 3 hours. The parcels arrived from Cornwall to my mum's in London at around 1pm the next day (just short of 24 hours later). My mum said a couple of the boxes had slight tears in them but nothing horrendous (and my boxes were a bit ropey anyway).
So all in all I had a pretty good experience with parcelsplease. I'm sure they're not perfect all the time, but I wanted to write a good review as often the only time people write reviews are when they have bad service.
    Thanks for listening :)

Unfortunately most of the good reviews come from newbie posters and read like advertorials so have to be taken with a large pinch of salt.
I remember the last time I moved house one of the last things on my mind would be writing a review but each to their own.

I see Parcelmonkey have started a new service up to 10kg for £7.07 48hour with signature using DX.
DX is the established document exchange service used in the legal system for moving documents around.
Driver brings a bag with label so no printer needed.
Size could be a problem though -I had a package 30 by 30 by 15 and it was just too big - if it had have been 30 by 30 by 10 i might have tried it.
Any experience of DX out there?
