I see Parcelmonkey have started a new service up to 10kg for £7.07 48hour with signature using DX.
DX is the established document exchange service used in the legal system for moving documents around.
Driver brings a bag with label so no printer needed.
Size could be a problem though -I had a package 30 by 30 by 15 and it was just too big - if it had have been 30 by 30 by 10 i might have tried it.
Any experience of DX out there?

Have not used it myself , but solicitors use it to send post to each other so carn't be bad.
Any advice I give on these forums is my own opinion only, and is what I would do in your situation or, what I have done in the past, please do not slate me for offering what I see as "sound" advice.
    Thanks

  • DX do the DSA mail for Institue of Directors (IoD), other than that don't know much about them

    Edit: Also they own NightFreight

Unfortunately most of the good reviews come from newbie posters and read like advertorials so have to be taken with a large pinch of salt.
I remember the last time I moved house one of the last things on my mind would be writing a review but each to their own.

    Hey everyone.
What a shame that a positive review is received with such short shrift Kayster! :(
Well i'm actually moving house tomorrow and finally everything is done and dusted, so thought i'd be helpful and write a review of a company that took some of the stress out of my move.
I'm a newbie as I have never felt the need to post about anything before, but having read all the negative reviews of parcel companies I thought i might try and balance it out a bit. I use the site a lot to look at opinions before I go ahead and throw my money away on crap service, but I have never had to sign up to do it.
I am travelling by train to London tomorrow leaving my life behind to go to university at the age of 31 (without having to worry about all the stuff that has already arrived at my mum's house) and i'm very sorry if my post has got your back up, but it might be an idea to lighten up a bit and accept that sometimes good things do happen :p

Good things happen many tens of thousands of times in the parcel delivery world each day. Fortunately each time this happens a gushing review isnt written or we would be swamped in a river of happiness. The real hero in your missive is UPS and they are good and available through other booking agents for better prices.
    Even more love

What Kayster is saying has hit the nail bang on the head.
The "great service you received" was from UPS not the reseller you booked via.
And it would have cost you less else where and you would have still had your great service from UPS.

    Hi

Im looking for the cheapest UPS standard service courier.

Is it still parcels please at £9 inc vat or is there someone cheaper?

    Thanks in advance.
  • Interlink Direct is definitely worth a look at. For me UK delivery is always a few quid cheaper.

I also have a business account and have never had any issue with Interlink Express.

Not really sure your right about that one as Interlink Direct is more expensive than others, maybe using your account may save you a few quid but that is not via Interlink Direct,
