Hi, book with collectmyparcel.com and choose FedEx or DHL etc and their system will auto generate all the paperwork for you.0 -

With the exception of Royal Mail small packet service (max 2kg) all carriers need you to complete some paperwork but they do supply the forms in various stages of completion. For instance Transglobal supply the form ready to print - you normally need 4 or 5 copies so read the notes you get from the couriers agent carefully. no paperwork=no shipment.0 -
You still need to attach a CN22 customs declaration if the item is being sent outside of the EU.
For those who do not know a CN22 is a sticker given to you at the post office that you stick on the parcel. You fill in the item description, the weight, the value and sign and date it - its nothing to fret over but the PO clerk will help if needed.0 -
i normally just use the post office for items to be sent. but i now have a item weighing 2.48kg 26cm x 20cm x 16cm . anyone recommend a service to use that I don't require a printer for? thanks0

Help!!
Need to get a parcel with broken electrical goods (Satellite receiver) back to China supplier.
Item is ~4kg and 46x36x12cm. Parcelmonkey seem the cheapest (I think) at £36
Getting lost wrt what paperwork I need. Can someone please help. I have seen some sites that say I need a 10 digit code, other that need to contact the Chinese embassy (!!) and another that I have to fill in and supply a form. The parcelmonkey website just points me at the China customs page - not really helpful.
Any help appreciated, as I don't want this stick in customs - just want money back.0 -
Anyone got experience of how strict the budget carriers are on weight?
I've used Yodel, Hermes etc (without problems) and found they happily ignore that a parcel is bigger than their stated max.
But do they check weights the way the Post Office seem to?
I'm 40grams over one pricepoint, and tempted to risk it.
Anyone tried it and been surcharged? :eek:0 -
40g over you should be fine, with myHermes once a courier has accepted it you're fine, the same with Collect+. If the shopkeeper has accepted it it's through, they hold the discretion0
