What prices have you been quote with P2G? Is it going to the North or South? I'm not sure if that makes a difference to the price?

I decided to go with parcelflight.co.uk and I managed to get everything down as I realised overestimates weren't helping with the price. I revised the package size to 75x55x15cm (originally quoted 80x60x20cm) and the weight to 11kg (from 12kg) and now the price has dropped to £70 insured!

They've been brilliant with their customer support too and called me up just now to explain to me that it would be picked up and delivered to Manchester airport by UPS today and then delivered via DHL Express tomorrow and told me they would email me the DHL tracking number tomorrow.

Looking good so far! Let's hope my luck doesn't run out. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Does anyone know what happens when you request a re-collection with Yodel/Dhl via P2G. Do they re-send labels etc. P2G's live chat seems not to be active, haven't heard a thing from them since l clicked the re-collection button just after 7pm this evening.

1st time using Yodel as l am fed up with City Link Chelmsford failing to collect, and blow me Yodel/DHL ALSO of Chelmsford failed to collect!!!
  • Hi, just wonder if anyone can clear up this with me. Im considering using Collect + for the first time to send an item i sold on eBay, and was just wondering if they require a signature on delivery? The item is worth £85 so will be paying the extra £1 for cover up to £100.

    Thanks in advance
  • Collect+ require a sig on delivery, but they don't show it online. However for items under £150 an online signature isn't required, only a 'Delivered' status on online tracking.

MyHermes stopped giving the blue certificate of posting. Why?

They shouldn't have, it could have just been that your courier had run out of receipts.

He said that they stopped doing that, and he didn't know why.
  • How very odd, you could try e-mailing HQ, but it's probably easier to keep the bottom half of the label.
