Cheap Parcel Delivery Official Discussion

So I thought I would be able to send my item by Collect+ but dimensions are slightly too big - the length comes just under 53cm (depth and width are 9cm) and the weight is 1.65KG - Royal Mail is too expensive! Any help would be awesome! I was going to use Hermes but it doesn't seem to operate in Surrey :-(

If your collect+ corner shop accepts it, it's fine, and mine doesn't care how large it is, so I'm sure that 3cm isn't going to hurt

Anyone else having a problem using the my hermes online website?
I cannot enter the delivery address, when I enter the house number and postcode the system selects another house number which cannot be altered.
I also cannot select the option to drop my parcel to one of their pickup points

Thanks, but i dont use Paypal , so i used www.senditnow.com (owned by Parcelforce)
£12.60 inc VAT 48 hr delivery. Collected and delivered on time and with no issues.:T

The major drawback with them is they only do customer service by email. I call it customer service, but my only experience with them so far is the worst service I've received anywhere, which is going some.

Someone said earlier in the thread that you can call the depot - that's true, but as soon as they see the consignment number was booked via iPostParcels and not a UKMail account they're not allowed to help you. One really sweet guy even tried to help over my non-delivery, but then got told off by his supervisor.

I won't go into detail, but if things go well I'm sure they're great value. However, if things go badly and the actual location of your parcel differs from what their tracking information says, basically you'll be called a liar and then told to write to them by letter if you want to complain.

Hi,
Does anyone know if collect plus deliver to the isle of man please?
I've checked their website and can't see anything that excludes the isle of man, but I don't want to post my item then have it bounce back?Any help would be much appreciated.

Using a postcode for TESCO's Isle Of Man store, their system says that it's standard prices to the Isle Of Man
