Just to update my predicament, parcale monkey did not respond within 24 hours, as they promised, matt has not acknolwedged, let alone replied to my email and only this morning do I find a hopeful but still left me in the dark reply from parcel monkey, apologising and promising to rebook my collection for Monday using the same details.
I'm can't see me wanting to use their service again to be honest - it's great when it works but hugely let down by the lack of communication.0 -
I am frustrated by the lack of communication from Parcel Monkey too. I was promised that the courier would go back to the customer and get the customers signature for the parcel that was authorised (not by me) to be left in the garage without signature - this has never happened.
I had three failed collections (two on same day) and requested refund as carriers were claiming our premises were closed. I received one refund for one of the parcels that were failed on the same day - just does not make sense at all.
However, worst of all are PARCEL2SHIP - be warned - DO NOT USE THEM. for the first time I had a parcel 'lost'. I say lost but I think stolen is a more appropriate work considering the size of it. This was nearly three months ago. HDNL admit they lost it yet PARCEL2SHIP will not pay out the £50 insurance I am entitled too (the package was worth much more). Worst of all they do not respond to any of my communication. They are ignoring every email I send.
I have used the Parcelforce service through senda2b the past few times and am impressed despite the few website problems they were experiencing. I even got an email saying that parcelforce had attempted delivery and left a card for the customer. Just hope they continue this way.:TSTAY CALM and CARRY ON0 -

ParcelMonkey - I've placed an order with you today for 2 parcels for collection tomorrow with DHL to China and Japan (Order ID 248636). Payment has been taken via my card (confirmed with bank), however the status of the order says declined? Can you please let me know what is going on. Have tried to call the telephone number on the email - with just the same message every time. Have raised a request via email - without any reply.0

I wouldn't even bother with Parcel Monkey. They seem to have the worst customer service out of everyone and their international prices are nearly £15 more than others.0 -

I wished I hadn't now - however they have taken the money from my CC so either need to get a refund or get confirmation they are actually going to collect the items. Didn't realise they had no telephone number otherwise would never have booked!!0 -
You could just contact your Credit Card company and initiate a Chargeback? The likes of collectmyparcel.com have the same DHL services for a lot less and you can ring them!0

Think I might have to explore that option - as still no contact from them. So frustrating that their only method of contact is a useless contact form on their website!
Thought trying on here might provoke a response - but alas seems not to be the case!0 -
Parcel Monkey responded quickly to my concerns last week regards my smashed computer, They even offered to have it collected from the customers house today and taken to their head office for inspection.
So my customer, who has nearly two weeks of waiting time, one smashed computer and £1000 out of his bank account to show for his dealings with me, waited in all day.
And City Link didn't turn up.0 -
