"So you are saying I should pay £10 more to a sub-contracting company that has no contact telephone number. Also, I need to wait in all day for a collection which means I can only send 2 days a week. If you have a problem there is only an email address for contact.
With APC I can drop it off at their office at my convenience, either call or go to their local office (3 miles away) to get it sorted and actually speak to someone in person.
I'd never order from anywhere that did not have a contact telephone number. Surely everyone knows that??
Do you work for senditeasy to suggest a more expensive and inferior service to the one I am getting? "
Senditeasy place all their orders via P4D any reseller who has that type of booking system places their orders via P4D as the booking system links direct to P4D server, P4D just offer these resellers a lower rate that P4D sell on their own website.
No-one should use these companys as you are just adding to the chain of people involved, eg: you send a parcel via send it easy, the parcel gets lost, you make a claim to send it easy, send it easy have to make a claim to P4D , P4D then makes a claim direct to DHL or who ever..
i hope knowing the above helps0 -
I mentioned Senditeasy because
a) Their price is not double that of APCs, so this shows there are other reasonably competitive deals to be had to AUS.
b) Unlike some of the other services listed on this thread, Senditeasy were here years ago and are still here, just the same, today.
c) I was quite pleased with the service which collected from my day-job office reception using DHL.
d) As I recall, they have a proper online quoting, booking and tracking system, this is much better than some of the others mentioned in this thread.
If you have really handy courier office near you it's worth £10 in itself - we don't.
I agree about the phone number. Then again, Easyjet not only charge £1 per minute for customers to phone them, but they completely hide any email addresses or even contact forms. It does not stop me booking Easyjet occasionally.
People watching this thread want to hear real world feedback on all possible budget couriers. Hence my contribution.
APC are missing a trick by not putting any price quoting online - you would not even know they handled Australia from their website.
The tip above about P4D is useful to know though, it it takes one link out of the chain then why not.0 -

I dont recommend P4D or anyone else, but the point is that you should allways try to use a reseller that has an account with the end carrier. Not a reseller that the places your order via another reseller.
Parcelmachine are another company that places their orders via P4D.
There are many more as well, that do this0 -
Hi
Does anyone know any reseller that is sending to the Russian Federation? I'm unable to get a quote for any of the websites I've tried so far. Not bothered who the Carrier is, just need a quote at the moment for a customer.
Thanks.0 -

I've lost touch a bit...who is the cheapest these days for a "normal sized", 2 to 4 kg parcel? Other than ParcelMonkey - I just can't be doing with CityLink anymore. Thanks! They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
