what are you both like.
honey the dog has been ignoring me a bit since i took her for her haircut on thursday. she gets quite distressed. at this moment she's lying on the window ledge (outside the window!) looking out into the street, like a cat!
it's a very sleepy day for me today, not much doing. i start work tomorrow, which will be fun.
it's a really sleepy day in southeast london today. what about where you are?MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

I used to have a beautiful mongrel called Poppy, she looked like a small border collie but had v long tail. Kids & I used to think it was hilarious to get her clipped in summer & leave white plume at end of tail..... exOH didn't..... only one of many reasons why he is exOH........A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

hi all, hope your dfwness is going sweetly.
was out yesterday, did a job yesterday, not a great no dfw day as i had to go to lunch with a couple of the people in charge and i spent £7.50. but they cut the job short, so i didn't have to go in today and won't have to tomorrow!! and i get paid in full!! hoorah, that's another £350 when i get it.
flippin brclycrd giving me beans again. i paid them off but hadn't closed it yet as i said i was going to wait to see if i could use it as a 0% transfer card. well a&l are giving me a credit card (% bt for 9 months) and they asked me to call them to sort something out. then they told me they were seeing a card that had 2 missed payments on it.
this was the deal. i had set up a standing order out of my old bank account to go to bcard. apparantly there was an error with the reference numbers, the amounts left my account, but didn't make it to my bcard account. i finally caught up with it (the first was for a fiver, so they didn't make much of it, they only contacted me after the second payment didn't show in my account). i called my bank, who told me to call bcard. i called bcard and they refunded the late fees, understanding that it wasn't my fault and accepted a payment then and there. the money is still missing from my account, still floating somewhere in the ether, but both bcard and my bank are not being efficient about finding it.
anyway, even though it was sorted!!!! bcard didn't take it off my credit file. thank goodness lovely new bank called me to speak to me about it!! new bank informed me to call bcard and ask them to take it off. and they don't want to until i get a letter from my bank saying it was the bank's fault. and bank don't want to give me letter, because they say it's bcard's fault for not sending back the money when they realised the name and account number didn't match up....still my £250 floating in the ether and 2 missed payments blacking up my credit file!!!!!!!
sorry for the long post, can understand if you don't read all the way through. they just made me sooooooooooooo mad :mad::mad:MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

well not much in terms of earning today. i've got a mystery shopping assignment today, so that will be good.
start work on monday. that will be interesting trying to be a dfw while at work. will be a new experience for me, as i've not had to do this before. we'll see how i do.
managed to call the organisations whose ddebits i wanted changed to my new account. apparantly cahoot were being less than helpful in sending the list of ddebits to a&l. so i decided to do it myself, it was only a few ddebits anyway. so now all bank stuff is sorted.
spent £21 at the butcher's yesterday (i think that butcher is expensive, must find another). again, that should last us a couple weeks. at the minute i'm averaging about £25 a week for food (including the veg box for £14per week). will have to see how i can cut that some more.
hope everybody is dfw lovely today!!MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

Need to us the inspiration from reading threads like yours to get myself in gear!!
