Hey lady, just remember that every day is a dat closer to your DFD, I know once you've done the spreadsheets, and done your budget it all just seems like nothin' doin', but every day you don't spend what you would have before is a good thing.

You've knocked £3848 off yor debt in a month, keep that up and you'll be free by October! Why not write that amount and stick it on your fridge/kettle/toiletseat to remind yourself how well you've done. That's really great, and makes me ashamed of my paltry £400 a month debt budget, and my DFD of (gulp) 2009
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

not dfw related, but just wanted to say i'm really proud of our soca warriors and how they played against england.

those were two fantastic goals from england that could not be stopped by anyone.

but i am still proud of the trinidad and tobago boys!!

Hey mel. Yes you should be proud. They are real battlers. I will be interested to see how they get on against Paraguay.

My OH is a West Ham Fan and I am a Liverpool fan so Gerrard is only popular with one of us in the house. lol

Tonight, even though Gerrard scored for England, my OH still scowled a bit because he stuck one past Hislop again!

Got a real soft spot for Hislop though, bless him. He was great in the Sweden game.

Edit: PS...sorry everyone, completely off money topic....I will hush up now!

Awwww thanks LA. Hislop is a star but that Gerrard goal was unstoppable.
    oh well

dfw now, i got my pigsback piggy bank today. husband was actually impressed that it was a piggy bank in the actual shape of a pig!! it's the £2 pig now (husband can't understand that either, he want's to put any old shrapnel into my shiny new piggy, he can put it in the old basket as he usually does - or just leave it on the chest of drawers for me to pick up)

can't wait for debt to be cleared so i can use this as a mortgage pig!!

piggy got £10 in £2coins at the minute. banked the other £20 yesterday. found out that you can get coin bags from some banks if you don't bank with them (you can't from natwest - they guard their bags like actual money), but you can't change the coins at any bank if you don't bank with them, lloyds will actually charge you £5 for each bill that they give you. so for my £100 in coins i would have paid £25 for 5 £20 bills!!. finally got the post office to take them, deposit straight into my a&l account. lesson learnt, sore shoulder from carting around all those coins.

postie has been with piggy but not with cards. hopefully will get ccard today to transfer from bcard to be done with them.

hope everybody has a great dfw day today!!!

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
