just called sky. having useless service and paying top price for it.
they offered to send a special engineer out free of charge and gave me half price for 3 months.
they're really trying to hold on to their customers.

Wow thats great!!!
You need to bang away at that Bcard next as that has the highest % rate.
Will none of the cards offer you a decent transfer rate when you clear them?
My dog Dill is very cute but is a bit skitish which can be a problem as everyone wants to pet him. He'll be 2 in Sept.Thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel....Then got hit by a train! :A

Have applied and been accepted for a Marbles 0% BT card, so bcard is going on that, whatever credit limit they give me. I keep transferring money from bcard onto my mint card which only has a limit of £400 which i pay off quickly. yes there's a 2% transfer fee, but it only comes up to less than £8, which is much less than the fifty something odd pounds that i pay in interest to bcard. and you're right, the quicker i pay off the bcard, the better. then i think i shall cancel it.
do you think cancelling a few of my credit cards will affect my credit rating in a negative way? (i think i asked this before). maybe i should just cut it up and not cancel it.
your dog behaves exactly the same as mine. my dog honey (in my avatar) is going to be 2 in october and she loves to jump on people to play with them if they only look at her.MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

g'morning everyone
so i got my confirmation of cancellation from cap one and decided to go and apply for the platinum (0% bt until sep 2007) card. however i could not get a response immediately (said they need 10-14 days). my bad really as i only applied for the marbles card last night and got accepted. i should have waited really (and listened to all the good advice on the forum) but i was impatient. oh well, never mind, hope it doesn't affect my credit score too badly.
it's another brilliant day. i'll probably go for a nice long walk with furry grey shadow. waiting for piece of furniture from cotswold co. to arrive (this was bought pre-dfw and was my last ccard purchase).
hope everyone has a great day today. don't work too hard!!MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)
