Melabarrie What are you living on? as far as I can see everything you have coming in you are paying off Debt, Be careful as you still have to pay for general life,

On an up note your making FAB! progress.

    Ranger

Ranger, i have my regular salary (until october) that i'm being paid weekly, so that's why i can throw any extra money at the debt. so any (careful) spending i do is deducted from the salary. and all other regular bills are being paid. and any extra from the salary is going towards the debt as well.

the reason i'm being so aggressive towards the debt is, as i think i said before, i'm an actress, so after october i don't know what my position will be. so even if i'm temping between jobs (which usually only pays minimum wage), i'll be able to cover my bills and not have a huge mountain of debt facing me.

i should have tackled it sooner i guess...well you all know the story.:o

Good quiet day today. Found the butchers and bought £17 worth of meat! this will last for two weeks, so i'm well pleased with that. (puppy even got herself a bit of sausage from the butcher, she was well pleased).

Just found out tho' that the lock on the front door of the building is broken (probably by one of the girls upstairs!!) and i now have to put out money to fix it!! i'm soooooo irritated by this as i don't have anything to do with it, but of course it's for my safety. we've already changed the locks for the year, as the same girls were burgled and we had to change all the locks in the building!! this bugs me so.

anyway, i'll have to call around for a locksmith, because i know they aren't going to do it. aaaarggghhh!!

not much else going on dfw style with me. waiting for my bags to send my phones to envirophone. hopefully that will come soon.

    off to bed i think

well not much happening by way of dfw-ness recently.

not going to germany anymore, can't get a visa in time (foreign passport), worse yet, i spent about £15-£20 on the phone trying to sort it out (all those embassies have 090 numbers @ £1/min when trying to book an appointment and boy do they give you alot of information you don't need, minimum call time is always 5 mins). so that's my world cup dream smashed. hope they bring the tt v england game on terrestrial tv.

not got anything from a&l yet, but i know it takes a while, i guess i'm just anxious to get everything sorted. I'm sure it will.

big sister just called me from trinidad begging me to buy her an ipod shuffle. i find it hard to say no as the exchange rate is so high back in the islands and i make more money than they do back there. but i really could have done without the spend. anyway, i guess i just have to do it and be done with it. she never really asks for anything anyway.

other than that, i'll be cooking up a nice beef (from the lovely butchers) and pak choi (from the organic box) stirfry, with some egg fried rice i have in the freezer. I might walk around today and take a few pictures as it's such a nice day and i have a photo assignment due any time soon.

hope everybody's having a good dfw day today.

well i can't believe the fiasco with the bingo site. i tell you sometimes i'm a sucker for such foolishness. good thing tho' is that they give you a £10 signup bonus which gets credited into your account. and quidco pay you £30 for it. soooooo

i'm gonna withdraw my £10 which replaces the £10 i spent on the site and close it forthwith!! and that means i'm £30 up. (whenever the money comes from quidco, i think it takes an age to track.)

that was a bit of a close call for me.

had lovely stir fry beef with pak choi and egg fried rice from freezer. made homemade bread yesterday and a victoria sponge (which OH has nearly completely demolished). still enjoying my weetabix breakfast (i'm only a recent convert). and looking forward to the movie i'm going to see on june 12th with free tix i got from the freebies board!!

    so i've redeemed myself.:p

have a nice night everyone. and a great day tomorrow!
