I joined weight watchers back at start of jan, it didnt track. So I sent off a querie thing, I put in it the date and time from the confirmation email from WW that I joined, then got a reply asking for the same info again??????
They have said it will take 30 days to reach a desicion and it could get declined and if it does I cannot appeal?? Im really disapointed, I only joined WW this time because of the £30 cashback!!!
Quidco used to be reliable, but frequently it now isn't. There are all sorts of reasons why, but never ever rely on the cashback being paid. There are numerous posts above from people who have hit problems getting payment from Quidco, sadly, and there's nothing much you can do about it if they reject your claim. I hope you succeed.0 -
I've generally had a good experience with quidco although I've just got to make one minor criticism.
Last month I had my account payment set to paypal and £60 in cashback in my account. The estimated date of payment was at the end of last month.
As that date came and went, no payment appeared to have been made. It was only after I read that the maximum payment amount was £50 using paypal that I realised what was going on so I've changed it to use BACS instead
it would have been nice if they had sent an email saying "You are due £60, however this amount cannot be sent using paypal as we have an imposed limit of £50. Please change your details to use BACS" or something similar! Can I afford to buy? Mortgage Affordability Calculator

I joined Quidco at the beginning of October 2009 & had £91 paid out at end of January & there's another £264 validated & the remaining still showing as tracked.
Biggest cashback will be Virgin for £169 for a big Florida holiday - showing as validated - so really pleased with that one.
Most annoying is Tesco - who I do most of my online shopping with - have validated transactions going back to 5 October 2009 which originally said would be paid December 2009 - still sat there.
I did raise a query with Quidco who said 'Tesco tend to work in batches & so I would probably end up with a large number of purchases updated at once. But, as rule of thumb, once a purchase is validated it can still be up to 3 months until the cashback comes through.'
So - 4 months and waiting.......
Other than that I'm happy with Quidco - have bought nothing extra but have taken into consideration which company to buy from because of cashback - the highest amount declined was Schuh for £2.25 which 'another marketing channel was credited with sale'.0 -

I've previously used Quidco for over two years however i've noticed several problems creeping in. I took out two Vodafone monthly contracts which tracked OK however the first has taken nearly a year to resolve and the second is still ongoing after 5 months. I've also noticed the cashback % paid to be different to that advertised so make sure you check.
I'm familiar with how affiliate sites work so assuming the purchase has tracked correctly then the problem is either down to the merchant (seller) not validating the purchase for some reason or the cashback site sitting on the money, either way its unprofessional.
New Year's resolution change cashback sites.
Happy New Year everyone ... :beer:0 -
Since moving to TCB I've not had any of these problems!
Just goes to show how differently these two cashback sites opperate.

Exactly the same here.
All of this family's stuff now goes through TCB instead of Quidco, and there have been very few problems. Any odd problem has been dealt with efficiently and quickly - unlike Quidco, who just seemed to want to put barriers in the way.0 -
I have £17 cashback being tracked from ASDA for 2.5 months. As the average time is 2 months I thought I would start a query only to get this message ...
'Unfortunately we are unable to investigate transactions for this merchant.'
WTH?! How can they say they can't investigate transactions ? They were certainly able to get me to make my purchase through them and now they don't want to waste their time with me ?!
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME !0 -
That was pretty much the standard Quidco response two years ago! Sad to see nothing changes with them.0
