if you are on sky already isnt it?

I'm sure that if you're not a Sky subscriber you'll be able to pay an additional premium to give you access to the service, whether that's on a monthly or per event basis remains to be seen.

  • By all accounts you'll be able to pay a monthly sub to watch, if you're a non Sky subscriber.

Those with Sky will be able to watch the VOD programmes to the level of their sub. You have to have multiroom or Sky Broadband to watch live TV.

You need a Xbox Live Gold account to do any of the above.

  • They both has DLNA feature which is good for the technology, wireless feature with internet access from PS3 is a plus but xbox has real gaming games.

I perosnnaly made the jump from owning Sony to MS and never had any regrets.

The Online-service is perfect, though at costs and I am wiered as well, so I dont care about wireless.

But in my honest opinion, its only down to Blue-Ray or not. There is not much of a diffference between both console, apart from that feature and Online.

I would go with what his frinds own and get a decent Elite Box. There is a Modern Warfare 2 Box coming, I bet he would love that one!!!

True, the PS3 only has Uncharted, Killzone, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, InFamous, Resistance, Tekken, Ratchet & Clank.........these aren't real gaming games.
