Getting out of my comfort zone

Hurrah to the loose trousers from me too! I have no idea what I weigh nowadays, but I do know what my clothes feel like, and that is good enough for me!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. The figure in my sig is from the beginning of May. Since they sold their credit card business to Barclays I can get onto the online account, but I can't see any transactions and the balance hasn't changed.
That's odd, I've not had any problem with mine. I've had to use it to buy a couple of things this month but transerred the money straight over to cover it and I could see it being credited to the account before the sellers debit arrived.LBM April 2011 £4906

I got a belt
and it was attached to a top and was only 2 quid!!!!:j:money:needingaccountability wrote: »That's odd, I've not had any problem with mine. I suspect its because its my only remaining card and I haven't spent on it for over a year. I'm not profitable enough for them, so they've switched me off and forgot to tell me!!
Very pleased with my bargainous belt, I didn't really see one I liked, that would go with anything, then spotted a top on the sale rail, and it had a neat little leather belt. Result.
Resisted the temptation to have a burger and chips for tea, and had a chicken pasta salad instead. Probably just as fattening, but less bad for cholesterol etc.
Other news, this contract is definitely finishing soon. Much as they would like me to stay, they can't find the budget. So another one looking into the patchwork lifestyle.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Nice result on the belt! Very sorry about your news on the contract tho - are you ok? Any ideas on the patchwork lifestyle? And the date?
Erm, I'm off into the [strike]jungle[/strike] garden, but I will be back - if only because I've left the laptop switched on.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

            Morning
had a restless night last night. Number of reasons I suppose. Need some paid work, although I will have money coming in until mid August, so not too bad. I am thinking along the lines of going back to all the different things I did when I was unemployed, before I got these contracts. At one point I had 5 different part time jobs, and I did far more craft stuff and actually did craft fairs too.
I was also limited in where I worked, whereas now I have the confidence to travel, added to which my brother now lives in Cambridge so I could always stay with him if there was work in that part of the country (sort of south-ish and east-ish I guess?)Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Might be worth keeping a pad of paper and a pen by your bed so you can jot down ideas as they invade your sleep.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

With that level of resourcefulness, Gill, you'll find something. What kind of part time jobs did you do, are they still around?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
