Getting out of my comfort zone

Hi Gill we hired a chair from the Red Cross for OS after his op it was £15 per month.
Ironing yuck that is one thing that rarely occurs in this household a fanfare happens if the iron comes out. Mind you I have to turn up some trousers for the wedding for my youngest so maybe it will make an appearance in the next few days
Today's task is the job application fingers crossed there is going to be a lot of applicants so not holding my breath but as we would be close geographically that would be nice although at the moment I am still considering commuting it or at least some of the time.
Have a great day

Good luck with the application DT - from here its not a bad journey as can do mainly A roads, you would pick up the same road at some point probably (Wrexham?)
DT - hire of wheelchair from this local charity depends on how long you have it. One or 2 days is expensive, long term works out cheaper. Mum shouldn't really go out because of risk of infection (she still has an open wound), but we couldn't resist the long weekend and the nice weather. So we've hired one for a week, which because of bank holidays takes us until next Tuesday as they aren't open. But thinking about it, we may change that as its DS birthday in May and we need to check access at the restaurant we are going to.
Today am going to do - nothing much - I feel I deserve an extra day off
so will go and check on Mum as off to Shropshire again tomorrow, and thats about it. Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Well I've done not much at all today.
Washing dried OK on line, also managed to wash DS' towelling dressing gown and get it dried, didn't think it was that warm out.
Didn't stay long at Mum's as she was really tired. She probably did more than she should. She kept telling us off for fussing over her, but we only worried.
I've knitted another square, not at all sure what I can do with them, but its so long since I've knitted anything I'm happy with my squares for now.
Tea tonight was pork from last night, but with veg and chips. Was quite pleased with cooking it in the halogen oven, not sure if DS will get the hang of it while I'm away though.
Off to pack bag, will take my new blouse and trousers, but the skirt is ever so slightly too tight - not tight enough to justify the next size up, just an incentive to lose another couple of pounds.
No Zumba to go to, as it would have been tonight, getting a bit confused with bank holidays etc.
This week will be a good one, as get 2 weeks pay, then get paid again next week. Will also still have a couple of payments from Cheshire job to come, but have finished there now, as not there this week, and only half a day next week, so only invoice them monthly now.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Sounds like you've had a more relaxing time which is good - and as if the wider family are rallying round for your mum. Good bargains at Matalan... I nipped to Peacocks which have just opened up in town and got 3 tops for 10.50 always nice!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Off on my travels again, hopefully it will be a decent journey, most people seem to have booked this week off so there should be less traffic. Have made sandwiches with the last of the pork,so consider the 4.25 to be well spent. Unfortunately the office I am in now doesn't have cooking facilities or a fridge |(well not that I'd use!), so can't take food with me, so am taking cup soups instead. I've got my tiny fridge for in the car, so can keep things cool for today, but thats about it.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hope you have a good trip those that had to travel went yesterday I think. The A55 was a nightmare and say hello to Shrewsbury for me strangely I bought my last formal work suit there from Austin Reed - a very long time ago - hopefully I will have to buy another - do Austin Reed still exist? - I am not sure must start thinking about interview suit just in case

I am assuming it is a short week for you.
DTxx0 -
Well I have checked and Austin Reed do still exist but not in Shrewsbury but there is one in Chester and in a certain outlet village where I met a very charming lady so maybe a repeat trip is called for
isn't it strange how you don't notice stores for years but there again the size I was I managed to blank out lots of shops that I couldn't dream of visiting. They also do suits now with a choice of trousers or skirts - I am so behind the times :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so interview suit should be OK thank god for the weightloss although I know I wouldn't even be going for the job the size I was - sorry Gill I am rambling

Hope you get that interview DT

Internet in hotel keeps dropping out, so just lost a big post.
I used to do lots of stuff, knitting, crochet, embroidery, dressmaking and stopped all of it for some reason, the only thing I still do is cards.
