Congratulations! Lovely idea to go off and celebrate by having a restaurant meal - hope you've taken a book along if you feel a bit insecure. Have you gloried in a glass of wine too? At our games evening on Sunday, not only did we have the ordinary bottle of wine that I bring along, but we had the bottle of champagne that was leftover from New Year (none of us drink, not really!) so we were .... tiddled, is the appropriate word, I think :D

    Morning

Birds twittering away got me awake at daft o'clock again, but hadn't slept that well really anyway.
    Too much going on.
Spoke to Mum last night and there's a problem with her bloods and she's back at high risk...
Sister didn't visit Mum yesterday - too busy :(, fortunately she had that many health professionals of one sort or another, she was OK.

New contract is based in a different office, so will have to take the car every day, as public transport isn't very good, and walking would just take too long, so will have to factor in a different way of getting some exercise every day.

Good news on the glass of wine, bad news on everything else. Hope a way forward presents itself really soon.

Mum has now got someone coming in every day to check her blood, its something to do with getting the warfarin right. They changed the dose, to help the surgical scars heal, but now she's high risk of a clot. Called to see her last night and sister was there, so we need to co-ordinate better.

Mum has had a fall out with the 'well meaning relative' - that didn't take long. Will see what I can do today, move stuff around, shopping etc.

I'll do some thinking over the weekend. The transport isn't a big problem, and at least there's free parking, its just I'd got used to leaving the car in the hotel and walking to work.

New office is on an industrial estate, but a bit further out of town, so may be opportunities to go out at lunch.

    Back later.

Really pleased you've managed to get a contract extension that must be a weight off your mind. If your other job has finished then hopefully that will give you some much needed relaxation time and headspace.

Hope things improve with your mum and wider family

    thanks sh

called to see her tonight, she seems much better now she's in her own house, and her own bed. And tomorrow night I'm out for a meal with the girls, we've got groupon vouchers so should be ok. Town centre will be crazy though as its lady's day, so we'll look a bit underdressed, as we won't have spray tans, posh hats and short frocks!

Hope you sleep better - I'm now on sleeping tablets... perhaps give that a go if things don't pick up for you sleep wise!

No, I can't see me ever getting a spray tan. It's not really me :D not sure they'd have enough of the stuff to cover me!
But there is a 'particular' look and feel to Liverpool on ladies day, and which is quite a nice atmosphere. At the end of the races, everyone heads into town, generally on the train, and spends a fortune, and the last few years, the weathers been good.

Working today, only have a few more weeks here, depending on when they fill vacancies, but may even decide to pack in at Easter, have a few days off.

    Have a good day
