Getting out of my comfort zone

Evening
well, have a meeting tomorrow, to discuss project plans as they have another project they want me to do for them. So fingers crossed x
Sister on her way to visit Mum and cook her tea, so the guilt trip has kicked in. Cousin has called in today too, so hopefully all working itself out.
Had to rebuild laptop yesterday as it lost all its settings, and now I can't find the pound sign, so can't do money posts.
NSD (other than petrol) so far today.
Off to zumba in a bit (oops spending money then!) and then must do blog post etc when I get back.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Chaos for you! They let your mum out of hospital without a care package? I thought that was illegal

**please** don't feel guilty about not being the one cooking her tea tonight .... you were doing it yesterday, remember: and you've bought so many bits and bobs for her that you've lost track of your own finances!
I'm glad you're going to zumba anyway - I've found some classes I'm going to do, that start immediately after Easter, at the local college, 10 mins walk away. But *you* sound like you really need it tonight - hope you enjoy yourself.

Aaw thanks
Mum doesn't have a care package because the OT assessment said she was 'mobile' and able to manage small tasks for herself. But...she's not allowed to stand for more than a minute, must keep her leg elevated, so although she *can* do stuff, she shouldn't. So I've done practical things for her, to make things easy.
It's a fine balance though between letting go, and feeling guilty.
As the lovely DT told me off last week for not eating,I'm off to get something to eat, not really hungry, but may just get a salad from Asda.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Morning people
well I did a bit of blog posting last night, and managed to get something to eat, but need to be more focussed.
Have a meeting in an hour, well its described as a 'little chat' which always worries me, but I know they've wanted to keep me on, so maybe they've now found the money.
Spoke to Mum, she was very tired, but generally feels better now she's got her own things around her; and I suspect she's smoking again....
Off for brekkie.

Someone listens to me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have everything crossed that your "little chat" goes well today.
Glad that other people are finally helping you with your Mom they need to step up to the mark.

Hope the chat goes well.gilligansyle wrote: »I never know quite what to do about breakfast in hotel. At home I survive on numerous cups of tea, can't face food first thing, never have. But I've paid for breakfast. So I generally manage some fruit, yoghurt, coffee and toast as I've generally been up since about 6. Today I had more to set me up for the day, but my system just isn't used to it, so was really tired. Or it may be the silly clocks confusing me!
A similar problem with hotel breakfasts here. I find that it's best if as soon as I wake up I have a warm drink, then go off and check emails etc.. For me at least it seems like it tells my stomach that it's time to start waking up. I still don't eat a lot, but I do eat more than if I just rush down and don't give my system the wake up time.0 -
Good luck at the meeting will be thinking of you0

Thanks DT se and el
I have a new contract until the end of June, so really pleased about that. Same hours, same rate, but the other work I've been doing finishes soon, so I'll have some time off in the week rather than working flat out.
I've downloaded my bank statements so will do some number crunching later.
I fancy something really tasty for tea, so may take myself off to a restaurant, still nervous about restaurants rather than wine bar/brasserie type things, but want something a bit different. Some interneting required.
Going to make a cup of tea, then have a mooch around.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
