    :hello:Hi flyladies!!

I've been very busy again today - petrol, shopping for all the things the online service won't deliver, allotment to get veggies, then took DS2 and DD over to nearby outlet. I had football boots to return. They were a very expensive (£130 originally! Not what I paid obviously) Adidas, and the first time that DS2 wore them to a practice, one stud broke, and then the solid inner sole broke. Fortunately, the manager agreed that they were faulty, that they should not have broken, and I got a full refund with no problem at all. In fact, she said it was the second pair they'd had returned, with the same fault.

DS2 bought some tracksuit trousers to wear after training, and a boot bag, and I was made to buy a coat by DD. It's a teal blue - I loved it the moment I saw it.

Shoes? I'm with lil-me, I hate buying them. I have slightly wider feet, 6 1/2 or 7, and usually find only one pair a year that fits. Consequently, I own two pairs of sandals, (and another ratty old pair for slopping out to the greenhouse), one smart pair of shoes bought for the wedding, and can only be worn for a short time, one pair of high heeled boots ditto, and one new pair of work shoes. All Clarks. And my much loved gardening boots - which are really hiking boots. I need to replace those, as the sole has split. No slippers, I always go barefoot indoors. Sorry lil-me, know you don't like feet!

Greenbee, froddington and rach - I'm cancelling something I was going to do next Saturday, so may be able to get up to London to join you if that's okay. Pm me please?

    mudbath
    - I am so relieved to hear better news of DS.

Love and hugs for GnB and her DD.

fedup it might be worth trying the coach ones, I can't remember the name but there is one with a big cartoon of a conductor I think he is on the back, my friend uses them a lot

boddy, while I don't agree entirely with those sorts of methods in dealing with a problem, they are sometimes the most effective. It is sad but with similar types of people police do almost nothing if anything at all, it has no effect at all, back to square one. Some communities do police themselves, especially those involved with higher levels of crime as the police have failed on too many occasions to control it. I am sure as long as GS isn't fearful of this person he will deal with it. I remember when a local moron who gets a wrist slap but nothing more from the police broken into DPs brothers car, he got a wrist slap but was dealt with locally.

serena well remembered :rotfl: I have socks on, so do the boys.....yuk yuk yuk bare feet, Spain was like a bowl of yuk loads of people shoeless. I can cope if I don't look usually but so many it was hard. If you have a Sports Soccer? those discount sports shops nearby they were selling Karimoor (sp) walking boots off last time I was in, we're about the same size actually, I wonder if the ones which fit you would fit me :rotfl:

Right.. there is no excuse for having fewer than 25 pairs of shoes.. I have REALLY REALLY wide feet.. most shops 'wide' shoes are too narrow.. I buy my shoes from Evans.. and many of their styles are too narrow!!

I buy many mail order so I KNOW none else has tried them on and send back what I can't get my feet in.. think I have a pair of Clarks boots here I keep meaning to ebay actually now I think of it.

Any ideas where OH's razor charger is or my camera charger?

We've not seen either for weeks and he is looking like grizzly adams!

Froddington-what time are you planning on meeting next week?

How does midday sound to everyone? I was thinking of somewhere around Greenwich / Docklands / O2 - any ideas welcome though!

If anyone else wants to join us, please feel free - all welcome - next Saturday.

Pigpen unfortunately it's not always the width across the foot, yes some Evans shoes are way too narrow, my heels and boots are Evans(only bought and worn for meetings so they will last me years), other shoes Clarks or Hush Puppies, I got one pair of M&S shoes which I have binned and replaced with the lace ups as they fell apart within 5 weeks, pile of tosh! I don't actually need more shoes than I have, don't have space or cash for more either. My going out shoes have lasted 9+ years so any more wouldn't be worn either, trainers last about 2 years as long as I walk the dog in my hiking boots.

CHARGERS - I just found my in house charger and DPs car one for phones in a bag we had when we went away, maybe a bag somewhere?

Oh I did try FLIPFLOPS when on holiday, for one day, sooooo uncomfortable aswell as revealing for feet, so definately not for me.

:rotfl: pigpen I fit into 1 flat Clarks shoe this year, I did go through the entire collection of flat shoes to find them, bit of a squeeze but not enough to be an issue. My pumps I was thrilled with as they fit in both styles so I got them, they will last me years. It's my instep and chunky heels that stop me in most shoes if I can get the toes in so the backless pumps were great as I could loosen the buckle and 'overhang' a little on the sides. Not got ladies feet :rotfl:Hush Puppies I did try this year and the styles they stocked in the shop (Brantanos) didn't fit, I wore one style for years but they seem to have stopped making them (I could have ordered those online as they were the same for ages)
