John Lewis relieved us of nearly £500  (wallpaper and a beautiful purple coruroy coat :D ).
    Purple=I like Cordoroy = I like Coat = I like. Purple+Cordoroy+coat = I want!

Greenbee, feel free to ignore me but the more you say about your new job the more IMHO I think you should jump ship quickly if you can. You can get away with a six month or less change, looks worse if you stay for 18 months and go. If this is how they treat new starters when they should be 'wowing' them for buy in and a strong positive psychological contract then how do they treat longer term employees?
I'd been thinking this too, they sound terrible there

I have girded my loins with a cup of tea whilst typing this post so I am ready to start. Have a good day, everyone!
Sounds painful, hope you let it cool first!

Vanilla hope the pain goes soon

Jassa hope your hubby gets out of Operation Stack, it’s a nightmare isn’t it

Hugs Mrs Chaos, hopefully your actions now will teach him to be more responsible in future!

Kazw take the calendar back and complain!

    Hello Edinburghlass!

Hugs Boddy for you and your GS, that’s awful, do they know who attacked him? Are the police involved? How much weight are you aiming to lose and by when? I want to lost half a stone in the next month, have been able to maintain my weight but struggling to get it down

Big hugs GnB, hope LO is better soon xx

Hugs Zoe, take care of yourself

Well done Jill on all your Wiifitting, that’s great! Sunnygirl you can do it!

Sexy, glad to hear the week was better and that you’ve got all those vouchers, that’s fab!

Greenbee, I’m sure you know but the passport checking service at the post office is well worth the money – they noticed that I’d put that day’s date as my DOB and it saved me lots of time and money

Diva, hope your cold clears up and your voice comes back

Mudbath that’s great news! I hope he will soon be feeling much better

    Triker have a good holiday

Woke up feeling like someone had been playing football with my head in the night, this is the fourth day with this and it's unbearable. I made it to the wedding but we skipped the reception. The pain in my head was so bad by the time we got to the reception location that I just couldn't do it. Bride looked lovely and they both looked so happy. The service was really good too. Glad we made it to that.

On the way home we stopped at a pharmacy to ask for advice about my head and she said to go to a hospital! Didn't really want to do that, but I did call the out of hours doc when we got home and he told me to go down to the cottage hospital in the village as that was where he was working, and he said its a migraine and prescribed me some migraine meds that won't upset my stomach. So hopefully the pain should go soon.

We got some pizza and chocolate (I know I know but I really need it!) and are going to settle down in front of xfactor soon. Recording Strictly to watch when DH is out - he hates it!

As for why don't I have many shoes......no space on the shoe rack for DPs :rotfl: plus I hate shopping in person & with shoes you have to **cringe** go into a shop and try them on
No you don't, I buy all my clothes and shoes mail order and return what doesn't fit. Next and Simply Be are good for shoes.

Boddy - please persuade GS to go to the police - the scrotes will get away with it otherwise.

Rosep - glad your doctor has helped with the migraine, but seriously, chocolate and pizza will NOT help!

Greenbee - remember the first aid mantra for sprains - RICE - rest, ice, compression and elevate - you need to sit about doing that and nothing else for a while! :D Seriously, I hope your bruises and grazes heal soon xxx

    boddy received and replied :)
greenbee thanks, I am sure we would pester you to send it back ;)
rosepink, I, like greenbee would never get round to sending them back :rotfl: actually I might just I know how choosey my feet are, out of a rail of shoes I will sometimes find one pair which are ok which makes it so so stressful. I have NEVER successfully bought footwear online. I'd have no space anyway :rotfl: I did have 4 pairs of slippers once, asked for them for Christmas 2007 & ended up with 4 but I need new ones now :(
mumofjusttwo I did and it wouldn't work :( it wanted £12 spend. I need to think what I need for people first anyway, that is why I have 2 Sanctuary sets from last year over buying toiletries. I don't know what I would do with the little S&G stuff.
One day I might be more organised...........

soappie. He wont go to police and says it will be dealt with. Not sure I agree with this way of dealing with it. The guy who did is a well known trouble maker of the worst kind. He is into all sorts.

greenbee Hope you are ok after your fall.

would love to come to Londinium next weekend but cannot find a cheapish train ticket

    Hi fedup,

have you looked into coach services - maybe National Express? I've used them a few times in the past. You deserve a break.
