lil_me In that area there is a certain amount of policing themselves. It does work to a extent. I know when I walk through that area Im looked after and watched over. Though DD makes me get the bus in the dark nights. GS is not scared of this lad and just said he needs a few days to recover. I hate violence and wish the world could change. I do talk about violence not being the answer and have said this to GS. I believe if we could stop violence at ground level then it might work its way up to countries not fighting each other. I would love a peaceful world.

Oh and shoes. Mine have to be comfortable.

1 pair of doc Martin black lace up shoes.
2 pairs of crocs for in the house.
    1 pair of walking boots.
    1 pair of trainers.
1 pair of good shoes for best.

Shoes? I'm with lil-me, I hate buying them. I have slightly wider feet, 6 1/2 or 7, and usually find only one pair a year that fits. Consequently, I own two pairs of sandals, (and another ratty old pair for slopping out to the greenhouse), one smart pair of shoes bought for the wedding, and can only be worn for a short time, one pair of high heeled boots ditto, and one new pair of work shoes. All Clarks. And my much loved gardening boots - which are really hiking boots. I need to replace those, as the sole has split. No slippers, I always go barefoot indoors. Sorry lil-me, know you don't like feet!
Sorry to go about them, but Simply Be do wider sizes if that helps

Greenbee sorry to hear about your fall, hope you are ok

rosepink I've had a look, I did order from them once which was bras, their own make I think Shapely something, worst quality stuff I've had in a while but they were cheap (£25 for my size isn't bad). I gave them away. I fortunately don't have to look for shoes very often, just when something breaks so I can brave it :D

Oh, yes, my wardrobe is similar, I do have a lot but set things so if something breaks, like the underneath of my jeans the weekend we move which 'rubbed away ' I replace it, that's it, so I know I have enough of everything. I suppose I am quite organised and strict with myself, if only I was with the boys clothes I might be able to fit everything into their rooms.......they do actually need a 'don't put that back in there mam it's tiny' clear out.
One day I might be more organised...........

No I'm not - chocolate doesn't enter my radar screen and pizza - bleurghhh! :p

I'm the sort where I get given a box of chocolates for one reason or another and I end up throwing half of them away because they're out of date/have gone mouldy/rancid!

That Jamie guy on X-Factor sang such a beautiful song that it nearly made me cry, it was beautiful

Anyway, I meant to say before, last night i did quite well with my under sofa quest, and have only a few bits to tidy now. And it really needs hoovering, it's so dirty! But then it will be done! And I can do reverse Rubix cube style furniture moving!

    Night night boddy :)

soappie I am not a real chocolate person either, DP tends to eat most of mine, he's a real chocolate junky and will throw tantrums if he has none

Ooooooo I didn't know you could watch IPlayer through the Playstation3, means I can watch it and use the laptop. Just going to get the kids to show me how to use it :D then kick them to bed

  • Hi ladies :hello:

Sorry I've been somewhat MIA - we are having an "interesting" time just now with various things which I'll not bore you with - suffice to say I feel rather like a blue whotsitted fly at present!

But on a plus side I have now attended two NCT sales, and not much has come back so I have a bit more space, I've started my Christmas shopping tonight at Tescos, and have acquired an new hobby aka allotment

Tomorrow its serious tidy up day and rewriting the next weeks to do list - some things need doing before Half Term.

Love & hugs to all who need them

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
