(((hugs))) valli. Maybe now he can't have the old printer he'll learn a lesson or two... like clearing up after himself!

Kitchen & utility tidied - not completely, but all the food-related stuff dealt with at least.

Oh yes, and I managed to nip into the dry cleaner on the way out to lunch today and drop off my winter coats :o and summer bedcover, so can pick them up next weekend.

and the little (well I say little I have to look up at him to tell him off) g1t has told me he is my equal.

(and I am fed up of my mum comparuing him with the really naughty teenagers I know he isn't but this is the one I am responsible for and we have a long way to go.) Goodness me she brought me up and I was absolutely angelic - honestly! Mainly because I cannot be bothered to rock the boat. I did slob when left on my own for a week when I was almost 17 though - you'd be surprised what can be eaten straght from the can:rotfl:

Thanks for the reminder for smoke alarms last week. I have the fire safety officer coming at 1.30 today to check out our smoke alarms etc. I have spent all morning in the study/RofD. I sat and vacuumed up cat hair and scatterings from litter tray. I am a bit ashamed of having someone come in this afternoon and see my mess. So we need to crack on and get it tidied

Valli I fully agree with you. In this house my rules have to be followed. DSs are now all over 18 but whilst they are under my roof they have to do as I say. If you are looking for a good punishment my most effective one was locking away laptops, games consoles and gameboys. It soon got rooms cleared of rubbish and dirty clothes!
