Job 1 today..get lazy rear out of bed!!!
Job 2.. wash said lazy rear.. and the rest of me..
Job 3.. Scrub paintwork in DD2's room
Job 4.. fill in remaining cracks and sand when dry
Job 5.. Stick lining paper to walls!

I am hoping the bleeding is tolerable tomorrow so I can get to my lectures (4 hours in the morning) and then manage a quacks appointment in the afternoon.. that will also depend when I can get a quacks appointment.. if I can get one in the morning I'll be going then.

I am phoning my old docs who I changed from 13 years ago to see if they'll accept DS2 in which case we will all be changing to a more competant surgery with docs who you can actually get appointments with! Then I'll need to find a dentist for everyone again!

greenbee, I didn't realise there was so many names for shoes :rotfl: wow! I wonder what I really have, I might have said the wrong names :o oh well

I just wanted to make it clear that they aren't all the same! Most of them are work shoes (I have to cheer up all those black trouser suits somehow!). And I've realised that I missed two pairs off after all that :o

Overslept this morning, so am having breakfast then need to get my act together and get going as I'm going out to lunch and it'll take me about an hour to get there...

    Morning all,

Had quite a productive, combined with relaxing day yesterday. Did the food shop at Mr T, then went into town, had 4 cheese straws hot from the bakery's oven, and some homemade leek and potato soup from the lovely vegetarian cafe in town. Then I was asked to do some market research which involved eating cold porridge (yuck!!!!) but I got £2 of High Street gift vouchers for it. Went to M&S and got butternut squash lasagne and crispbakes (cheese and bacon for OH and smoked haddock for me) with my M&S vouchers. Went to Mr S to get milk and the last bits of shopping, looked around BHS at their pretty things, where I ran into a nice colleague and her daughter, before coming home and chilling out watching Saturday night TV. OH cooked dinner too. Oh, nearly forgot the productive part - I put away the clean washing piles that OH made last weekend, washed and put away 2 sets of sheets, and did another load of washing, and also have cleared quite a bit of paperwork. The main bits that are hanging around, that I need to get a new folder for, are the staff meeting and inset day notes, and school policies. Filed everything else in my payslips and teaching folders that I keep in my room. I'm getting there, but still lots to do today - OH is out, so hopefully I'll be able to make the most of having the house to myself.

Off to do some more washing as the sun is out, so will try to hang some on the line. My aim is to have editted my literacy plan, maths plan and weekly timetable and emailed them to colleagues by the time the next wash load has finished (approximately 50 mins). Then all I'll have left to do then is mark the massive pile of literacy books that I'm behind on, and tidy up the house.

I'd love to come up to London next Saturday - a day out with the girls is just what I need at the moment, and it was so nice back in the summer when we went. Have PMed Froddy to ask her about trains etc, as serena will tell you, I'm not that familiar with the transport system in London - she and her DD were very good at looking after me when we went on the tube last time.

Well I'd better get on and put that washing on and get planning so that I can spend at least some of my day on doing something for myself instead of just for school or the house. (Haven't painted my nails for weeks and my nailvarnish on my toes has nearly grown out, so may try to do that at some point.)

    Take care everyone,

    sexymouse xx

    Morning everyone.

Busy, busy here with DH cracking on with the cloakroom. He has plastered the new wall and cut the floor tiles yesterday ready to lay them later today. At this rate we may even finish a room before Christmas. We have had the tiles for over a year ready to lay them, but with his back it is a really difficult and painful job for him. The difference the memory foam mattress has made to his back is amazing though. Money well spent IMHO.

Rosepink - I used to suffer a lot with migraines. I hate to tell you but common trigger foods include chocolate!
Lil-me - Similar problems here, not a lot bought and no savings left now other than the dire emergency 'pay the mortgage if DH is redundant' fund. As long as the consultancy cheque that came on Friday doesn't bounce then I have enough to pay for the boys presents. I think a lot of people are in the same boat this year.
