    Morning all

Drizzly here. DS2 has a cold now but gone to school, DS1 still in bed with sore throat and earache. Cycled DS3 to school and have left my bike out as I need to go to town in a bit

Has anyone been watching Electric Dreams on BBC4? Loved it...and it inspired me to get out the teasmade...was great to have a cup of tea this morning with no effort! Just had to go and switch the boiler on, no standing in the cold making tea!

I've no idea what the program is but love our teasmaid. I brought it for OH as a 35th birthday present. It reminds me of the sketch about the broom - it has had 2 new elements and a new teapot but is still going strong.

Doing my dailies and then either town on an hour in the Room of Doom - I'll do the bathroom on Sunday like usual and our room tomorrow.

pigpen - I wasn't going to nag, but was worried you were not going to get any help. But how far will you have to travel to another hospital? Can you put in an official complaint about what happened?

A complaint is a waste of time.. they never take any notice and never reply.. even when midwives say they are waiting for a baby to die before birth because they don't like the mum.. (Tiddles)

The next hospital is not too far and much better service plus I don't have quite such a huge issue with being there.. because noone has wished my baby o die there mainly..

    Anyway.. nail appointment now..

Laundry folded.. and some has actually been put away!

AND... I went to the carpet shop to get a date for someone to comemeaure my hallway for carpet/lino so i can have a few less draughts this winter... :D

    today have:-
vacuumed main bedroom, landing, lounge, hall & stairs
    decluttered all above areas
dusted & polished the obvious bits - mainly bedside tables & dressing table, coffee table & tv!
    swished & swiped the bathrooms
    WM on

have had some good news - DS has passed his 11 plus exam so we just have to wait until March now to see if he gets in as we are not in the priority area. fingers crossed as the alternative is either a pretty ghastly comprehensive or finding around £10k a year to send him to a private school although if I remain unemployed we should get a bursary for the latter as he is very bright.

[FONT=&quot]Well it's been one of those weeks, you know the ones that you really don't want to do anything and put it all off until you absolutely have to do stuff. Yep that's the sort of week I have had..lol

I think I have definately lost "toxic" and the friendship. I wasn't able to go to court with her on wednesday, while she sorted out her financial settlement, as unfortunately another friend was in a really bad way and I had to be with her. Unfortunately N didn't take it too well, she basically said she now knew where she stood etc.. and did I really want to leave her to go along etc.. Hmm guilt trip or what? So far I have heard absolutely nothing from her either via text or phone. So I think that is possibly it, also I think I have to say goodbye to the rest of the vet money she owes me for Fred. Not happy as the last lot of money, that was used to pay to collect his ashes, DH paid for on his credit card. Oh well you win some and you lose some, as they say.

My ME has been playing up something rotten, my hands are rather clawlike at the moment, and my hips are really sore. I'm also having to take energy tablets to get me through the day otherwise I drop off to sleep :(

Anyway I managed to thoroughly clean the kitchen today while I was sorting out the dinner. I've also managed to organise for someone to come and put our downstairs internal doors on (after only a year of them being in the garage still in their boxes!) within the next couple of weeks.

    HShugsdoganim_16923.gifto anyone that wants/needs them.

First of all I must say a very belated Happy Birthday to Toots for yesterday. No excuses, I am sorry, but I just didn't get on here yesterday. I hope you had a lovely day.

SS I am pleased things seem to be happening for you at work, hopefully to improve matters. I gave up because of issues that noone would listen to. When I physically couldn't do what was expected of me. I am now happily 'early retired' but do miss working with kids.

pigpen That is shocking the way you have been treated at the hospital. I hope the other one is hugely better and that you get the help you need.

DK I was just laughing at the thought of the Room of Doom. I have one too.
Just wondering if everyone has one.........
Now I have lost my curser.....must go and look for it...I am careless...was going to write more but it is so complicated...without a curser....the dots are so I know where I am...

DH and DS2 have both gone down with what looks like Sflu. DS2 has ben in contact with a few people who have had positive results for it.

I am going to go out and leave them to it. Hard, aren't I? DD and I need our Friday, girls day.
