oh I DO like your style

2 beds stripped and remade. Have also changed DS's duvet cover as, compared with its matching pillow case, it looked grubby IYSWIM (I use sheets to save having to wash duvet covers constantly)
WM 2 on line towels are almost dry:T so no TD:money:
(I DID use it yesterday )

DD wants to go to town for jeans but I want to get the sheets out first...

  • I'm back after doing some studying - and I quite enjoyed myself once I got going (isn't it always the way...?). Have also eaten a quick bowl of left-over pasta&sauce and made a cuppa, so once I've drunk that I'll be trying to do a HHC on my bedroom.... uggggghhhh

(Unlikely to enjoy that quite as much!)

Thanks for the message kazwookie! Much appreciated. Maybe I wasn't quite happy with his diagnosis.....:D

I think it was the shock of that word 'elderly'. I mean.... I always think of myself as about 32 or so....

Not much older than the gorgeous, fit young man, really....:D:D:D

    Anyone for a 12:45 (OK 12:47) to 1:15 HHC? I'm off....
  • In my HHC, I phoned the bride, phoned the groom, talked to hubby, talked to the bride again (who is stressed out so I told her it would all fall into place as long as everyone knows what they are doing, which isn't likely as we just found out we have to do a job that we didn't know we were doing and we only found out by chance), and searched in numerous places for DH's tax return.

I've now called off The Great Tax Return Hunt of 2009 - he can do it online, so there!

I do feel sorry for my friend, I wish she wasn't so stressed. The trouble is, she's not a very organized person and is organizing everything herself. Oh well, hopefully by tomorrow she won't be stressed anymore and can enjoy the day. I feel sad for her as it should be a happy occasion, not a stressy occasion.

Back from town - cycled there and back again - it is only a mile each way and is getting easier. I love not having to keep an eye on the time when I'm down there due to parking restrictions.

Bought a lovely wicker basket in one of the charity shops which was a bit of a challenge to get home on my bike. Also picked up a c*******s present which I had reserved in Argos for DS2 and have done all the banking jobs for this week.

Just having a cuppa and doing a couple of jobs on hear and then an hour in the RofD.

DS1 has decided to go into school now for a DofE meeting and because PE is golf lesson this afternoon. He is still struggling to speak but would not stay home.
