i keep mine in a plastic supermarket bag and twirl it so theres no air in the bag and leave it on the breadboard on my kitchen worktop with the knife so when my 2 men wander into the kitchen after munchies they take a chunk of that instead of my other goodies
besides my breadbin is far too full of crumpets/wraps/breadsticks etc to fit anything else in!:rotfl:

I pit mine in a large cliplock box on top of the bread bin where the rest of the family insist on keeping the horrible sliced bought bread that they insist on for the sandwiches.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

OK, so I am now the owner of a new panasonic breadmaker. You were all right, it makes fabulous bread (I used my christmas present money off my dad and bought something useful for once).
The next question that I have is what is the best way to store the bread, or what should I wrap it in to keep it as fresh as possible please?0 -
I store my homemade bread in a lock and lock container that I bought in Lakeland plastics, It keeps my bread lovely and fresh http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!3345_5489_2480_54410
