Another £1 paid towards RBS CC - that means I've already ticked something off my list!
I'm in work today but it's not too bad. It's very quiet so is giving me a chance to catch up with some bits and pieces in preparation for a busy start to 2010.
On holiday tomorrow so am going to spend the day with hubby and the children.
Have a great day x0 -
Enjoy your holiday tomorrow!
I'm off to clinic for a check up so will pay in a cheque while I'm in the town so save making another trip. Need to get myself a 2010 diary too so then I can keep track of money coming in and out next year.0 -
Diary on way
Woke up worrying about not having everything sorted for hospital so ordered last bits and bobs and a diary that was half price too

Hi
Novagirl, wow a month to go! You must be getting excited at the thought of meeting the new baby!
Had a lovely day off. Hubby and I just spent some time together and went out for a delicious meal! Not doing very much tonight - may pop over to my parents to see in the New Year - can't believe we're entering a new decade!!
Have a great evening everyone - stay safe and lots of good wishes for you and your families for 2010 xx0 -
Thought I would pay my last contribution towards my debts for 2009 - so I've paid £20.09 towards my RBS credit card! :rotfl:
I have successfully managed to clear 33% of my debt during 2009 and only really started focussing in August - just think what I could have achieved if I'd been as good from 1st January 2009. So from tomorrow, the focus is well and truly back to the debts and my goals for 2010.
See you in the New Year! xx0 -
HI,
I've just sat and read all of your diary from the start, so impressive. So focused and determined. I've subscribed to your diary as I want to keep up with your achievements. I've set myself a target of paying £500 off my £4000 HBOS OD. I paid £50 off day before y'day and I'm going to do the £1 a day payment. I'm lucky in that I use a different Current Account to the HBOS one, so I can do the payment online.
The mad thing is that my HBOS OD keeps me awake and I'm keen to pay this first, yet I've loads of debt with CC and Loans. But I've decided, rightly or wrongly, to tackle the HBOS one.
So that's all for now, I'm away to pay my £1 and I'll check in with you guys tmmw.
Have a great 2010 and I hope all your wishes and dreams come true.
LOL LexieLou. xx£38,000 and change to £00 -
Welcome along Lexie Lou!
The main obstacle I've found is remaining motivated to clear my debts! If your HBOS OD is keeping you awake, then get rid of it first - this will spur you on to clear the other debts afterwards! There is no right or wrong way - just go with what's right for you as it'll keep you focussed!
Look forward to catching up with you tomorrow - Happy Debt Clearing New Year! xx0 -
Hello LexieLou...welcome along. NoDebtDiva is very good at keeping you motivated as she'll always post that she's paid her £1...you feel compelled to go and pay yours then too.
I completely agree about paying off the one you are most worried about first as then you'll be alot happier in yourself.
Happy New Year everyone.x0 -
Hi Everyone- Just subscribed to LexieLou's diary when i saw the bit about £1 a day- bit nervous as this is really £30 a month and i am budgeted to almost the last penny- though to be honest there is about that mush random spending and plugging that goes on...so HERE I AM...i am gonna do the same and become a follower!
Hope you all have a great year ahead filled with nothing but good things- (and if there must be not so good things- the strength to deal with them!)Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30
