Hi Ziggles,
I know what you mean about it being £30 a mth, but I drink way to much coke, like 3 tins a day, so I'm cutting back on that by 2 tins a day, saving me about £1.50 a day. Therefore the £1 in my account. Haven't decided about the other 50p yet, but I'm sure I'll find a home for that.
Be good. LLxx£38,000 and change to £00 -
Would bottles not be cheaper than tins in the long run?0

Happy New Year!!
Welcome along ziggles50 - thanks for joining us.
Right crew it's heads down and let's get focussed for 2010!! :T
I've just made my first payment of £20.10 - I didn't go out on the town tonight so have paid some of the money I may have spent towards my debts.
Will pay my daily £1 later and report in!!
Hold on tight, we're off on a pretty exciting ride this year!! xx0 -
Hey Nova Girl, Yes bottes would be cheaper, but tins taste so much nicer.
I'll update you later on today as I've got a present I bought for someone, (they didn't know I'd bought one), and I'm returning it today as he doesn't like the product I'd bought, hopefully I'll get my money back.
Be good.
Updates later. LL xx£38,000 and change to £00 -
Ah fair enough, I've never really noticed the difference but I'm sure I will now that you've said. LOL
I've paid all my minimums to get me started.0 -
Just paid the first daily £1 of the New Year!!
So, here's the plan of action this week:
1. Look After Myself
a) Friday I'm planning on giving myself a mini-facial
b) Drink at least a litre of water every day
2. Health & Wellbeing
a) Put together the meal plan for the week
b) Go for a swim on Tuesday and Wednesday
3. Get Organised!
a) Put together my list for the week
4. Declutter
a) List 5 items on Ebay
5. MSE Challenges
a) Pay all my daily £1s
b) Take packed lunches so I can pay £3 towards my debts (£15)
c) Have at least 3 NSDs
6. Monthly Challenge
a) Spend 45 minutes a day sorting out the Study
7. Have Fun & Be Happy!
Easy!
I'm really hoping I can remain focussed and achieve all the goals I have set for this year. They are all attainable and it would be so good to look back at the end of 2010 and say "WOW" look what I've done!
It's a cold but sunny day here, so I think I may venture out with the children later for some fresh air.0 -
Hi there,
So good start to the year already.
Went into town and got my money back on the present, £25. Then went straight round to the Halifax ATM and lodged it.
Paid my £1 into my HBOS OD
Also listed 12 items last night on Amazon
Went to the shop and bought a lottery ticket and something else. Priced items came to £3.55, till showed £3. I said nothing about the difference and have just put the 55p into my piggy bank.
So good day all round then.
Till tmmw debt busting buddies, (I think I'm becoming addicted to this site!)
Lots of Love

Looks as if we're off to a great start! :T
ziggles I too have JUST showered! Couldn't be bothered to step out of the door as it's so cold and it's snowing now! Had a good day vegging with the family, made a chicken dinner and watched tv.
LexieLou, you did well with all your listing last night - I've joined the Ebay challenge so need to get my act together!
Novagirl, hope you're looking after yourself and not feeling toooooo tired.
Would have been a NSD but hubby has just popped out for a bottle of vino (which reminds me, I must drink my litre of water first!!).
916 days to go...... :rotfl:0 -
Evening..well morning people!
Spent New Year's Day at my brother's so paid my £1 tonight but a NSD other than that.
I too should drink more water as I tend to forget to have a drink so I will attempt the litre of water a day too.
Ooh, got £20 worth of Shell vouchers today from Bzz so will use them for petrol and then Bzz about it. Might be worth a look into for those of you that don't do it. Basically, they sent you products to test and then you just write a review about it and who you told about it.
