  • I have this in my Kenwood BM450 right now...Ive put it on the Cake cycle.will have to keep an eye on it tho,as Bake on this is 75mins.
i also added 1tsp vannila extract and only 1/2 cup sugar....Oh and substituted 1/2 cup of the SR. white for 1/2 cup SR wholemeal.
    Heres hoping it works. :)

  • Update....success,I let it run for the full cycle tho,so it actualy baked for 75mins,think it was baked sooner, but looked very pale,I prefer things like this with a wee crusty edge.OH is eating some right now(piping hot, just out the breadmaker),with ice cream...im planning on having some with some toffee yoghurt(banoffe pie type effect?)...think this may become a regular..the banana loaf recipe that came with my BM,involved a lot of faffing around and extra ingredients, this one is much simpler. :)

Mine could probably have done with another five minutes, but was descended on by the ravening hordes and demolished in very short time....:D

Mine rose to just above the paddle in the BM450,dunno if it rises higher in the panasonic, but i think the kenwood has a slightly wider pan than the panasonic, maybe thats why it doesnt rise so much?
