i could tell many storys, the woman who tried to hit me with the our staff are not here to abused sign, the woman who was screaming abuse at me all the way up the car park after she left it too long to collect an RD item, numerous near physical fights with guys ( im far from a small guy so was often surprised by how many felt it was a good idea)
me personally i was/am pretty good on the door.

Most people who deal with the public have horror stories. Even from the realtive safety of my office I can tell you some horror stories and I rarely even see the public face to face!
I think its built up frustration by the public over a "we can do what we want as long as we say sorry" mentality thats spread from the railways outwards.

thats a whole new thread of its own really... and i know lots of horror stories from that side too!!

Its amazing becuase most people who have this mentality actually work in an environment where they have no interaction with thier own customers so look on everyone else as they see their own job.

ok so we get our junk mail at 11am (they never bring letters, just !!!!!) if i am lucky they come at 10:50 and i can see what assortment of !!!!! they have brought this time, usually its not worth being late for work for.

anyway today they brought a card saying something i ordered needed a signature, which means a trip to the sorting office (oh good)

i swear they are part of a never open at normal times cult, opening hours are 7am-12pm monday to saturday. nice, want something on the way home from work? no chance sonny jim.

if one of their troglodytes speaks english i might ask them about stopping post for other people coming here, i am still getting letters for someone that moved out a year ago, then again there was a queue out of the door last time i went. i'm off to kiss my loved ones goodbye, by the time i get back i will look like grizzly adams  :o

btw its the attitude of their front counter staff at sorting offices that stinks, both here and the other two local ones, and i dont provoke them either, my sarcasm stays inside cos i want the various items of junk i buy off the interwebs

If something is so urgent it can't wait until you get back from work to be read it probably shouldn't be sent through the post then.
You are lucky your delivery office is open those extended hours. Where I used to live the office was miles out of my way and only open til 9.30am on Saturday. If I had a parcel and I couldn't arrange re-delivery I had to get up extra early and make a detour on the way to work, or get up early on a Saturday. Now my local one is open til 11.50am on Saturday and 6pm on Friday (is on my way to work) and I think I'm bloody lucky. Now all I need is my ruddy parcels to actually turn up.
It's also unlikely that the person on the desk personally had anything to do with your piece of mail and if you ask nicely maybe one of the "troglodytes that speaks English" could teach you how to write in it .
As for your complaint about mail addressed to the previous occupants still being delivered. Don't you have a bin in your house?

what because my office is open 12 hours a day?
    you realise contracts change often?
Amazon was using TNT over RM about 2 years ago,all over the news RM lost contract blah blah.
i didnt see any headlines when amazon came back to RM?
same as i havent seen a news story on sky dropping TNT to use RM recently

remember a while back when RM changed posties hours, starting later
now this may shock you(you might want to sit down)
when you start later you finsh later
yes its mind blowing stuff,i had to get my mate stevie hawkins to run over the figures to confirm
then when you increase the duties, cut down the staff levels on sorting etc etc
well i'll let you find your own preferred science bod to do the math
