Hi everyone,
Feel like I have spent loads of money today - mainly cos I have - woops! paid gas and electric bill, and also bought 3 books for uni (but then I guess thats what the maintenance loan is for right?) still waiting for my bursary to come through though and hope it comes ASAP as I am using that money to pay for my tuition fees
I also sent a letter to the DJ we had booked for our wedding before it was cancelled as he wanted £400 basically telling him I wasn't going to pay it as it didnt state in his terms and conditions that I would have to - so see what happens with that now!
Think all bills are upto date now, (fingers crossed!) xx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
I can't imagine a dj can charge cash when it was cancelled in advanced! Normally you just loose the deposit cheeky thing. I'm ok thanx for the message. Hi all, I didn't post yesterday as wasn't feeling too well.
Not upto much today as should have been at uni this morning but due to feeling unwell I havn't gone in.
I wrote a cheque for the milkman yesterday to settle our bill, we cancelled him as we were just paying sooo much for milk that we werent even drinking so thats another dent in my finances
It is so hard to stay out of debt cos things just crop up i.e. on friday I have to pay for the washing machine I bought last year (god damn buy now pay next year!)
Also stopped filling in my exspense diary - very naughty of me!
Anyway how is everyone else doing?:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -

Thanks Happy to get debt free -
Had another cry todaynot really anything to do with my debts just feel like I am on the only one doing anything, as OH works away so I still have the general running of the house, plus uni, plus work, plus ensuring bills are paid, and looking after pets etc. making appointments is difficult as I never have free time and I just dont feel I can keep doing everything - oh well i'll prob get myself into a routine soon enough.
Got my bursary today so using it to pay the washing machine we got last year, also having my other student finance reviewed so may ring up to see if they have sorted it yet.
Cant wait to be debt free and qualified then all this will seem a life time away xxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Hi all, just a quick one before I head off to work, just made a PAD to the very catalogue, and checked my APR and its increased to 44.9% I cant believe it! Managed to get the balance down to £795 going to try and get it down to some more before the next statement as last month I got it to 798 and was well chufed and then with interest it was whacked back up to 822!!
Also listed my wedding dress on preloved now so hoping to get some interest, anyway i am officially running late now so speak soonxxx

Hi all, really really tired today, have been to uni and now i have some books i need to read through, although a hour in bed seems more appealing at the mo!
Im really hoping to pay the very catalogue off ASAP - I have listed my wedding dress on pre loved, if I sell it, it will be HUGE help, also going to sell my shoes, tiara, veil etc I have been putting off doing it for a while but have decided now that I have to!
