Hi all,
just made another pad off the very catalogue, not as much as yesterday but £1.16 non the less, which now brings my debt with them UNDER £800! I just hope the APR doesnt make it shoot back up!
Gonna try for another PAD tommorow
I've put all my debts in order on my signature starting with the biggest APR, going to go for the snowball affect!!
Anyway will be back to update later - need to go and tell my naughty cat off now lol xxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... A.J - What hasn't the cat done - he's a little git, always trying to get at something, always scratching and biting, tormenting my dog - he is only a baby though so I let him off, and also he now goes out in the big wide world which means he's calmed down.... a little bit!
So looked at online banking and at a glance i look "rich" but i'm not at all.... I have 1700 in my bank and 400 in the other bank, but I need to hold back £1,078 for my tution fees :eek:
I also need to pay this months and last months mortgage as we went into a arrears VERY BIG WOOPS :eek::eek:
I have to pay all the usual bills to pay too.
Plus £500 for the washing machine we bought last year - Oh dear - I need a miracle this month!
We do have more income, as OH gets paid weekly, I am always waiting for my additional student loan to come through as they didn't send me enough and also waiting for my bursary, but its taking ages!
Im thinking of changing my landline number as I am getting calls from random creditors offering me loans such as bright finance, provident etc (think its from when I was desperatley trying to get a loan before the light bulb exploded and shattered all over my life!) but now its annoying! does anyone know how i can go about this, it has got to the point where me and OH dont answer the phone and family are complaining they cant get hold of us! anyway off to do some maths to work out how I will survive in October :rotfl: (I have to laugh, cos if you don't laugh you'll cry!)

oh dear sorry about cat and bills!
When i was being chased i just got an answerring machine and screened calls it soon stopped or you could right to themsaying the only way you ewill deal with them if via post (and the way royal mail is you will never hear from them again).
Hope all goes ok.Proud to be dealing with my debtCCCS member, Debt free wannable nerd 1237Combined debt total=[STRIKE]sept 09 [/STRIKE][STRIKE]£5679.27[/STRIKE] Nov 09 £4599.46DFD [STRIKE]SEP [/STRIKE] OCT 2012:huh:0 -
Thanks A.J
I dont owe money to these companies they just phone me all the time trying to encourage me to take out loans etc.
I bought my monthly pass for the train today and 9 weeks tram ticket, so altho it has hurt my bank account it makes it cheaper in the long run, also had to buy passport photos which were £4 is it me or is that ridiculus?
I am going to contact the uni and query if my payment date for fees can be delayed until I have received the rest of my student finance, if it can then I can use my wages for personal bills, instead of holding it back for the fees.
How is everyone else doing? X:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -

I just wrote the longest message EVER and my session had timed out!!
Anyway I will try again....
The other day I said I had cancelled my night out, but yesterday I decided to uncancel, so i'm out tonight :j I figured that as this is my last weekend off before going back to work then I should enjoy it, as I will be working every weekend now I am at uni! I am however going to get a lift rather than a taxi, and only take £30 out, and no bank card!!!
Also were planning on doing a car boot tommorow, so need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed!
Planning on making a PAD today, just need to see how much, OH looked over my shoulder yesterday while looking at the very catalogue and commented on how "low" the balance was as its at £798 and last time he saw it, it was over a £1000
Think once the Very catalogue has gone, Im going to start doing PADs on the virgin CC, as OH said that his minimum payment last month, took a whopping £1 odd off the final balance - not impressed
Anyway thanks for reading - speak to you soon xx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
Well the post has been today and im 118 pound in arrears with Gas and Electric, I was promptly paying these every other week and then one week I asked OH to do it and he didnt and then I did it the week later, and then the week after that when the next payment was actually due he was insisting the money wasnt due till the following week as I had paid it the week before and I kept trying to explain to him that the payment I made was a late one and he just didnt get it.
I tell you, this is what you get for trying to give OH just an incy bit of financial responsbility!!! Im so mad at him :mad:
I just feel like Im hitting my head against a brick wall with him :wall:
Right well guess its down to super moneytroubles to sort it out AGAIN
Speak to you all soon xx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
Hi everyone, well i've had a very long and hard cry this morning
Yesterday I received letter from mortgage company saying I am in arrears, then today I got a letter saying im in arrears with Gas and Electric, and then I've checked my emails this morning and had a rather abrupt letter from the DJ we booked for our wedding which we obviously cancelled when the wedding got cancelled, and hes demanding £400 off us and told us if we dont pay within 7 days hes going to pass it on to a debt collection agency or start legal proceedings
I dont know what to do at the moment, we paid a deposit which we have lost but we never signed a contract or anything, also when OH's mum cancelled the DJ on our behalf he never mentioned any additional payments to her.
I felt I was doing so well and today everythings just crashing down on me
I'm going to pay the gas and electric and also mortgage today but just dont know what to do about this DJ situation, i dont even know where I would get advice on this?
OH just shrugs things off and tells me not to cry but I cant help it xxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0
