Aw thanks homegrown_life! We do have texts included in the package but still we seem to be going over, i think aswell on the iphone it doesnt tell you if you have gone over 1 text message, in the past when I have sent long text messages from old phones it tells you when its turned into 2, or 3 if that makes sense?
Uni was good today although I tried to save money by taking my own drink, and there was a fire alarm so in the rush I chucked everything in my bag and didn't put the lid on my drink properly! was not amused!
Anyway off to add up the spending diary! be back soon xx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -

So OH just text me, and asked if I thought we could afford gym membership £45 a month
I text him back and said No and he seems to accept that, honestly that man sometimes! Although I should be pleased that he actually asked as he would never have done that before!
Anyway better go and have a shower, early start in the morning X:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
ugh to OH's to don't get it.
If your uni travel spends are going to be every day then I'd be tempted to not count them when you're thinking about NSD's, although can see why you're putting it in a spending diary ( I still haven't done one of those). Do you have a car? Wondered if it was maybe easier for you to take that in and park or (you sound like you're near me with the tram fares) to a park and ride?? Ignore me if you don't drive though!!!2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120 -
Hi homegrown life - next week im purchasing monthly tickets for train and tram so I wont count them then
I do drive, and I had a dummy run to the park and ride, and I hated it, I don't cope well with city driving and felt stressed lol
The train just seems more convienient as the station is right near my house.
What are you interested in studying at uni? x:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
I dunno!!! Which is why I've never managed to go to Uni as I feel I need to know exactly what I want to do and I can never work it out. I'm a bit indecisive me
I know what you mean about city driving, I hate it too. At least you're on the way to getting the monthly passes though, should make it easier to budget.2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120 -
Hi everyone,
not much to say today, have just been shopping for cleaning products and spent £16, although I did purchase a new double quilt as my cat peed on my other
Also was a little naughty and bought TWO breakfasts at uni, I first bought tea and a pastrie but didnt feel ful so then I bought a sausage roll
And then of course there was the dreaded travel exspenses!
Being good though in the sense that I am withdrawing cash rather than using my card in shops! so I know what I actually have in the bank.
Also planning to go christmas shopping this weekend, hopefully getting it all done! thats the plan anyway!

Hi Moneytroubles
Isn't it nice but faintly weird when you start enjoying paying off your debts rather than shopping? It keeps taking me by surprise too@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/?
