Budget £350 - Spent £64.45 to date0 -
As I said in my earlier post, when I phoned the Telegraph they quoted me £5.35, today I received a mailshot quoting £1.50!! So I phoned the Times again and asked to speak to a supervisor and no way would they budge from the original £3. He said don't bother renewing but wait a few weeks and they (Times) will probably come back to me with a £1.50 offer.
He said we hook you on £1.50 and increase every year by 50p, which has happened with me since 2004.
So I have an offer code for the Telegraph could someone else use it or is it tied to my details?0 -
Tripleh,
I would like to use your Telegraph offer code if I can please.

The Telegraph offer code is specific to your name and address and they will not offer it to anyone else.:beer:0

My Times sub has come up for renewal at £4.50 pw - it goes up 50p every time. What's interesting is seeing here (http://www.abc.org.uk) that they offer subscriptions running from £1.50 to £4.50 pw. No way I'm renewing at £4.50.
I see also from the same site (just search for the newspaper you want to check on) that the Telegraph subs run from £1 to £5.35. There are some bargain rates out there, and I'd love to know the best way to get them!0 -

What a fantastic find - all the rates laid bare!
It makes negotiating much easier!0 -
I assume the rates depend on where you live, if your postcode is an area full of £1m houses you are very attractive to advertisers so the Telegraph will target such places with silly offers.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.0 -

What happens if you are away during the subscription period? Can you ring them and ask for no vouchers for a particular week?0
