My father in law gets a £2 sub to Telegraph but everytime I ring they quote me £4.15! Any ideas how I can get them to bring it down. I tried the obvious things!0

I was stubborn with the Telegraph and refused to renew at £2.50 hoping to get the original £2 offer.
Although i never got the £2 offer i renewed at £2.50 after they offered me a £10 M&S voucher.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

How does the subscription work, do the Times / Telegraph pay the Newsagent to deliver the paper or do you have to pick it up yourself?0

With the Telegraph you either pick it up yourself or arrange delivery from a newsagent and pay them the normal delivery charge together with vouchers for the cost of the newspapers.0 -

they send you vouchers to give the newsagent and you pick it up instore or pay the boy/girl to deliver0 -
If you have a problem getting a Telegraph subscription at £1.50 the guy in charge at the Telegraph is apparantly John Allwood:beer:0

don't know if this helps but just got a letter from telegraph asking me to ring
0800 316 1996 to get a money saving paper offer before march 28th

but it's a diffreent no so may be worth a try0 -
my letter was for £1.50 per week too - might have to ring the times and tell them I'm cancelling!!
