Does the weekly subscription also include the weekend editions?

If so, the £2 a week deal for The Times is not bad at about £0.29 a copy.

Please note this number is the Times Subscription service. I had great difficulty finding the Telegraph one, but eventually found 0800 332020, open Mon-Fri 9-5, Sat 9-1.

I was offered a subscription at £2 a week, payable by quarterly direct debit. I had one a couple of years ago, but it increased in price so I cancelled. £2 is quite a saving. I only buy the paper at Weekends, but the subscription price covers the cost of this and throws in the daily paper 'free' if I want it.

Thanks previous writers for the money saving hint. I had been ready to quote a better offer by the Times, and haggle if necessary, but was offered the £2 as soon as she checked I had been a previous subscriber.

The suscriptions are for the full seven days per week.
With the normal Saturday price of £1-20 and Sunday edition at £1-60p it makes a considerable saving.

    Thanks for the info Joe.
You are right, quite a saving with the w/end editions included as well.

I tried getting The Times deal and was only offered it at £4 per week.

Seems like the £2pw is only available to tempt previous subscribers back.
    Shame!

Anyone know a way, for a 1st timer, to get the £2 deal before I give up?

Seems like the Telegraph goes the other way, my £2 subscription has been offered as a renewal at £2.50. I will have to ring and haggle.

I noticed the Costcutter store near the stadium in Cardiff has window posters saying half price newspapers, not sure if its national though.
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?
    That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.

I've just tried both; Times want £4 a week, Telegraph will re-inststate me at previous level, which was £2.85 but neither would budge on those prices, even when I mentioned i had two uni students at home - true (unfortunately!)
