One of my cats loves my fluffy duster on a stick. She loves running up and down the stairs with the fluffy bit between her teeth and the "stick" bit rubbing between the banisters so it makes a real noise! Can get very annoying.

She also has this habit of helping herself to items from my friends or visitors handbags when they call round. My friends have learnt now not to put their bags on the floor or at least keep anything "embarrassing" hidden in their bags!

  • Where will I start with my 2 cats.

With Ginger, he likes to lie on a pile of earth in the greenhouse, while the sun is out. Then if I'm sitting on his chair, he'll look at me to say will you please move, as it's my chair and you've heated it up for me. Sitting right behind he while I'm in the kitchen and makes me trip over him. Giving me 6 inches on the double bed and he has the rest.

    As for Schooch.

Yelling at 2 in the morning, wanting fed. Then again at 4, just to make sure I'm up for work (even if I'm not on an early shift). Comes into the bathroom when I'm having a shower. Follows me around when I'm doing any gardening. Just to be sure I'm doing it right.
  • Well, my Rottie has a habit of taking shoes to people to greet them (picked up the retrieving habit from my Lab) - regardless of what toys are around, it's always a shoe she brings.

If she has an itch, she does her very own interpretation of a hip hop style dance. I like to call it a jerk dance though. She picks someone out in the room to blame the itch on and keeps eye contact with them while bouncing about like an idiot.

My Lab, well she likes to pretend she's all serene and buddha like, but secretly she's a bit of a closet grumpy soul - or is getting that way in her old age. Out walking last week this old gent was walking with his stick and looking at the girls said 'don't you mistake my stick for a tree' - Mia ignored him (too busy focusing on getting to the park) - Chloe had a grumble at him!

Now it's cold my cat is under the duvet most of the day and crawls further inside if any cool air blows in!!!!!

If I am eating tuna straight from the can my cat tries to eat it at the same
    time!!

A shake of the cat biscuit box, rip of the cold meat packet or Whiskas pouch and my kitchen door flies open!!! (cat doesn't miss a trick!)

He use to be able to let himself in n out of the front door until it was changed.

Dennis bats the cat flap, catches it on the rebound and then lifts it up over his head, either that or he yowls at the door expecting someone to open it for him

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Lily is currently obsessed with noses!! she'll come and sit on my chest when I'm sat down and bat at my nose with her paw! Its really cute and a bit baffling! I wonder what she thinks it is?

Stitch the cav in the picture, can unlock, turning the key with his paw, our french door, then pull handle down to let himself out..
Sweep my other cav(in pic next to him) is agoraphobic...he shakes when we put lead on,hates being out in middle of field, prefers to walk on pavement where there are cars parked so its enclosed, stops when you get to a junction coz its open, will not go to loo in field either.Loves his enclosed safe garden though.
Another thing is,he will be sat at door to come back in,when we open door he walks away from it,walks in a circle, then comes in!

    dontcha just love em..!?

Well my cat Daisy, who I've had for just over a month since my other cat,Orbit, died in Sept has taken to climbing onto my side when I'm in bed & going to sleep with her head resting on my shoulder.
    She does'nt really purr,it's more of a 'huffle'.She's such a little lady!
This is Orbit, who was 14 when he went.

We've had Timmy 3 weeks now and he has quite a few funny little quirks.

He loves the end of his nose rubbed and he loves his gums rubbed
He constantly headbutts me for attention and he has a thing about licking my feet!
At mealtime if we show him the sachet of food he jumps up and pats it with his feet.
He likes to sit on our window sill and he chats to something outside, almost like a yapping sound.
He knows when we get home from work as he jumps up onto the window sill as soon as the car pulls up

When Nellie was a kitten she was constantly ill with various tummy upsets and loose stool. Whenever she went to the litterbox I would follow her to see what was going on, sometimes holding on to her as the poor little thing squirted and splashed, then obviously fussing her before starting clean up procedures.
She quickly learnt to return the favour, following me and OH to loo, watching intently, climbing up to have a look and fussing over us!
Thankfully she grew out of the tummy upsets and the loo watching as it really freaked out several house guests.
