I have posted this one before, but this is our Ted. He loves DD's toy cooker and always plonks himself in there when she plays with it.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

In winter one of our schnauzers won't go to bed until I put the blow heater on to warm herself up after going out for her last wee before bed....think I may have spoilt her :D

I know but indulging them in their little quirks is the difference between a pet owner and a pet lover!

  • Lupin, my cat, licks everything .. walls, carpets, bedcovers, furniture, cardboard boxes ... it's very odd & I have no idea why he does it!

Do you live near the coast at all?
It may well be salt residue from the sea air that your cat loves.

No - I live in the middle of York! He seems to do it in an exploring way ... "Hmm ... what's this. Lick, lick, rub, rub ... how fascinating ... lick lick." :p

  • Picture this:
Psycho Paul, a big, old, grumpy male rat with the rodent equivalent of a beer belly. Sitting on his backside, legs akimbo and belly hanging out like Homer Simpson watching tv.
Penny, a small, young, stroppy female rat with athletic tendencies. Launching herself from the top of the cage (and it's a tall cage!) to land on all fours, on top of Psycho's belly.
Then she screams like she's been killed, and grooms him agressively.
    Rats are weird ;)
