your beloved pet's little quirks

Great quirks!
Not sure about my lot really - I think they're quite boring.
Marygold (horse) - likes to have her 'boobies' scratched and will present her backside and !!!! a back leg asking you to to do it. It can be quite alarming if you don't know what she's doing!
Floyd (SBT x ) - hasn't got any. He's an angel
Daisy (SBT x ) - licks the sofa until it's covered in massive slobber patches. Gross!
Jools (moggie) - makes any cardboard box you leave out his new home. Also bags. And if anyone is doing DIY he likes to prostrate himself in the way, or nick pens, pencils, screwdrivers.
Rosie (moggie) - doesn't have any really.
Maj - new horse so I've not had the time yet to find out her quirks. I'm sure she's got plenty!0 -

Mine loves to lick my OH's head when he is lying in bed!0 -
Hovis my airedale terrier has lots of quirk. One is that when she is in the back garden and wants to come in, she paws the back door. Then id open the back door and she wont come in, just stand there. Then id shut the door, and open it again, then she will come straight in.0

I have 2 cats. Sox likes to wake me up first thing in the morning, usually between 4:30 and 6:00, whenever he wakes up  He jumps on top of me, paws me, nuzzles my face, nibbles my hand, anything to get a reaction in the vain hope i will get up to his demands and feed him!! However he never does it to OH, only me!! Lucy likes to sit on the dining room window and 'chatter' to the birds outside, she also stretches up on her hind legs and bats the window in a vain attempt to get to them!!
I love my cats :j

Ignoring the fact that i have more hair than him, the person who made that could have been in my bedroom this morning animating the pair of us!! They are sneaky little beggars!! :rotfl:0 -
Jasper our 12 week old kitten is just developing his stalking skills, he really seems to believe that leaning against something whilst he does it makes him invisible, bless him - a black and white kitten against light blue walls stands out big time0

i've only had my kitten a few days and already sussed out her quirks, every time i put Paolo Nutini on she'll jump up onto my shoulder and fall fast asleep in seconds!
she also absolutely loves chasing the cursor on my laptop screen!! and goes crazy when I play happy aquarium on facebooktrying to become a moneysaving student0 -
I love those Simon's cat sketches!
Quirks for mine.
Daisy and Yogi - both jump up on the loo seat when they want to be groomed/big fussed
Daisy - bangs on the cat flap to let me know she wants to be let in through the human's door.
Skye - walks up to me then just flops over on her side when she wants a fussing. Tight rope walks along the top of the handle of a long wicker basket.
Yogi - and this is what neighbours tell me, sneaks into their homes, jumps in the shower and stays there when they turn it on and have a shower. Doesn't do that at homemaybe I use the wrong shower gel :rotfl:
Yogi - he has complete freedom to come and go, but most evenings he will come in through the cat flap, take hold of my arm to get my attention then lead me to the front door so we can go out and play chase round the (quiet and well lit) car park. We do this for a while then go back in and off he goes again out the cat flap
All three. Sit in a line in front of me lifting up first one paw then the other when they want to be fed - I'm trying to get a vid of that but haven't managed yet because if I so much as move a muscle they run into the kitchen expecting instant food.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Great idea!
I have two cats- Marvin and Buffy.
Marvin thinks he is human and will eat everything you leave on your plate. He is also very anxious and can't abide you shutting doors from him- he will sit on the side of the bath with me to make sure I don't drown!
Buffy is better than an alarm- when it goes off she paws at my head and grabs my hair with her teeth- you don't have any choice but to get up!
The worst traits they have is that they are hunters.... apparently bunny season is now over, mice and vole is coming on and the squirrels have just started....0
