Yes, I did mean online games so if anyone would be able to recommend one of the two laptops I would be really grateful or without getting too technical another one which may be better but similar price.
Many Thanks0 -

MiM - the second one was on a long thread on hotukdeals (I'm pretty sure it's the same one, it says expired as the price has gone up)- I think it maybe the better although I'm no expert!

I recently bought this laptop for under £246. It's fine for the internet and word processing and even some games. Good for beginners or students, but if you're into serious gaming (like my little bro) I'd go for something a bit more powerful.

I'm looking for a cheap laptop for internet browsing.
I've got a home PC but it's more comfortable sitting in the living room than in the bedroom where the main PC is, hence the requirement for a laptop.
Now I'm not fussed on portabilty as it's mainly for around the house (I've got wireless broadband) but I do want a decent sized screen for viewing internet, i player, dvds etc.
Net books are cheap but they all have tiny screens, I'd like 15' or more, but then the price goes up but I don't need the power for gaming etc. that comes with the rise in price?
So any suggestions, decent screen, internet viewing etc?0 -
I just got a cheap netbook was about £200. Was an excellent bargin. Got a desktop at home so wanted a cheap computer for the road, and it ticks all the boxes.0

My laptop is on it's way out so i'm looking for a new one. I've come up with this so far:
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/ho/WF06b/321957-321957-3329742-89318-89318-3837670-3885078.html
(which I can get for £340 with a deal through work!)
or

or
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-4110.aspx
I have up to £400 to spend, and whilst I am not gaming etc I want something that is pretty good for what i'm paying! I do not want an acer laptop as my current one is Acer and when i've had to deal with them a couple of times they have been pretty rude, and less than willing to help
