Legal obligation-duty of care-socialist clap trap new labour health and safety gone mad. we need less of such rubbish and a good whack of common sense.Thankfully we should get that next year when the tories come to power.

They're not going too. Too many people who are sick of the toffs helping each other to screw the rest of society. A huge amount of people don't agree with their support of hunting either. Not that any of the other parties are brilliant either..

Apart from anything else, the little girl might have been upset by having her hair cut. I think I recall she's only 2 and has a younger mental age but she could still have been really upset by it and the way it might have been done (maybe with annoyance or exasperation, stuff might have been said, who knows), whether she could or did express that or not.

Jess-it is time we stopped molly coodling our kids. These socialist left wing liberals seem hell bent on destroying our once great country.
  • But something that could be washed out, why cut it out?

    Who even cares?

Toddlers get all sorts of stuff *everywhere* and need to be cleaned up on a regular basis, so they trimmed her hair a bit, does it matter?

    No.

Perhaps when looking for millions in compensation from the nusery it will be worth mentioning that having a bit of hair trimmed off has left the little mite mentally scarred for life?

Ok, all the people that think it's no big deal.
It's illegal. That's not in dispute is it. You think this is a pointless piece of legislation then.
Give us a list of what you think is acceptable, and which laws can be safely ignored with childcare, and let's see what you would do if you were in charge.

Oh for fook's sake, who's talking about compensation? It's not about compensation!
It's only you anti-loonyleftie types who keep banging on about it!

Mikey, I truly dread to think about what they would do if they were in charge. They'd probably bring back corporal punishment to 'toughen them up a bit'.

It's a conversation, an exchange, BFG. Why get the thread locked?
