Thanks again everyone. I told George what had happened tonight. He said his daddy had broken his heart, and cried for a bit, but then he rallied and managed a bowl of lamb stew and mash, a cheese triangle and some cookies and milk.

I've spoken to his school and they will help as much as they can. I have also had various friends and family keeping me company. The MOD are being good and phoning me every day too.

I just can't believe this is happening.

Evening everyone, not a very good start to my OS ways, I have managed to declutter a little and make a nice roast chicken dinner. Bin has been put out and I have a wash on - I hope the weather is at least dry tomorrow to hang the washing on the line

Still no facebook  apparently they have a few problems, fingers crossed it's back for me soon:D

AUSSIE - she does have a slight accent now but only certain words she says, no doubt she'll be talking all sarf London by the time she goes back home;):D

OH is in bed and I will be going up shortly

Enjoy the rest of your evenings, nite

Jayne, what a lovely son you have, I'm sure he will be a great comfort to you in this time of desperation. It's so good of you to let us know. Take care of yourself sweetie, and remember we're here when you need us xxxx

Thanks for the update Jayne. Have been thinking about you today. Hope you've also managed to eat something.

DDs had a lovely time today. We went to a place called Wightwick Manor, which is a beautiful house. As I thought, I couldn't manage all the stairs, but I bought a guide book to show me what I missed out on.

After all the travelling - and train delays  - I'm not feeling too great now and have an awful pain in my leg, despite pain killers and deep heat [mind you, my leg is nice and warm!].

DDs are in bed as they have to be up early for Japanese lessons tomorrow. I've still got some stuff to do before settling down, so should step away from MSE, I suppose :D Not sure about that one yet though :D:D

I'm glad it all went well with George when you told him Jayne. How hard it must have been. It seems so surreal. We're all here for you.

Sunflower That's fabulous news. What a relief for you. Upwards and onwards now. :D

I don't post on here as often as I should but always read the daily. Had to come on when I read Jayne's awful news.

Jayne your little boy sounds lovely. We're all thinking of you. Take care of yourself.

Sunflower so pleased to hear your news.

Well after a busy summer I'm getting back into the OS ways. BM back in service, cooking from scratch increasing.

Today I made a big pot of celery soup with my HG celery. HM spaghetti carbonara filled us up tonight.

Really need to get more organised and do a meal plan.

Also loads of decluttering still to do but Rome wasn't built in a day. ;)
