Yesterday at Tesco I used calculator so could get 1 lot of shopping to £60 & could use my £6 off £60 shop Sainsbury voucher & put thru a 2nd smaller lot on seperate receipt. Saved £22.60 using coupons inc. £2 HB one's & £4 DM book one's, total paid was £74.59. Also used the Times Sainsbury voucher from last week & got a 6 pack of Vitality yogurt worth £2.18. Back at the car I found 1 more of the Tatler mag coupons in purse (worth £2.60) which expired that day & hot-footed it back into Tesco at 2 mins to 4 (just before they barricaded the door!) grabbed cat litter, pasta sauce & kitchen roll just so I could redeem it! Could not bear to chuck away such a high value coupon - has anyone else been so ernest?? :-)0

Saved £8 on £85 shop in Asda, would only let me use up to 10% and cashier had to check that i was able to use vouchers for items not purchased. Can't believe i have only just cottoned on to this, no doubt now shops will crack down on usage! I haven't had any luck with Asda using vouchers out of their magazines for items not bought, but they have been accepting the Olay vouchers (£5 off ) - are they going to stop accepting these as they are supposed to be Superdrug only?now mum of 4!!!0

Hi Goldrush1984,
Yes you can use in the self scans although some Tescos don't allow any vouchers through the self scan, I know mine doesn't. Also there seems to be a lot of differences between individual Tesco stores with regard to coupon acceptance. My local store seems to accept them ok so I try to get a good % of any shop I do, but the Tesco near my work will only accept one coupon if you haven't bought the item.
Just take some in and try, if they say no then just smile and put them away for next time.
I always try to pick a young preferably male bored looking cashier as they seem not too bothered what you use.

rozeepozee, and anyone else expecting a baby, don't forget to register with Bounty.com and Pampers website, and the Huggies website.
They will send you nice £1 vouchers regularly.
The reason why this is fresh in my mind is I just picked up my Bounty bag at Asda........NOOOOOOOO I am not pregnant (have had 4 kids and tubes cut!) but still registered with Bounty, must have pressed a wrong key or something when it asked 'are you pregnant?'.
I have a pregnant neighbour and am about to take her the samples of creams & nappies, plus two vouchers which can only be used in Mothercare & Boots, so nothing got wasted....PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
